Amazing Games You Started But Never Finished

What are some great games you started to play but just never got around to finishing?

Heres my list.

1. Okami - Wi controls ruined this for me, they were so unresponsive

2. Zack & Wiki - It was just to damn hard, lol

3. No More Heroes - I didnt want to do the stupid side jobs before you get to play the awesome parts. I will finish it before the sequel though.

4. Metroid Prime 3 - Playing on hard was a mistake, i just got really frustrated.

Valkyria Chronicles - I love this game, but i've bought some others games like Silent Hill 3 or Shadow of the Colossus, and i cant find time to play Valkyria anymore.

Viewtiful Joe - The last level is really hard, not impossible, but again, is hard to find time to play it, specially now with Super Paper Mario.

FEAR - I love horror games and this is actually pretty good, but Company of Heroes has all my PC gaming time at the moment.

The Legend of Zelda: WindWaker - Yep, you guess it, the Triforce pieces quest, too damn annoying.

Basically, i dont have much free time to play games, and i have a lot of games to play right now.

Mass Effect. I never really got into it. It felt so... shallow.

Fallout 3. I had a lot of fun with it, but I got bored. I'll be going back to it later though.

Bioshock - Slaughtered my old computer. Just got a new one plan on finishing it soon

GTA4 - Last mission I simply cannot beat

I didnt finish that one either. I loved the story but hated the gameplay. Im not a big fan of RPGs.

Rainbow Six Vegas 2; I only played the multiplayer the entire time... only played through the first singleplayer level. :oops:Stevo_the_gamer

The single player is really short, I finished it in one night.

I just remembered...I didn't finish Okami either (still on oni island) :cry:

Zack & Wiki- very hard game.

Mass Effect- it's not a bad game but I just can't seem to stay interested in it for more than 15 minutes or so at a time.

Bioshock and Dead Rising- Just laziness on my partbez2083

Deus EX: I remember I borrowed it from a friend from school, not ehough time to finish it. Years later I got it pretty cheap, but now it feels so clumsy and old I can't even get past the first level without getting borred, and spot playing. Strange since I still play some old PC games.glez13

I felt the same way. Just do yourself a favor and don't give up just yet. Just get to the Hong Kong level. Once you get there, you wont be able to stop.

Wait, it was amazing and shallow?

I like to say that it had style, but little substance. The gameplay was quite streamlined, so it looked impressive without actually being deep, and the story was told very cinematically to cover up the whole "uh, we don't have much of a plot - let's just copy one of our older games and see if anyone notices" element.
I can't say that I didn't enjoy it, but it's not a great RPG, imo.

Anyway, back on topic:

• Super Paper Mario (if that counts as an amazing game) - it was just so incredibly dull in the later levels.
• STALKER: SoC - I missed an objective somewhere, kept going, then couldn't be stuffed fighting my way back towards it. Plus, I always felt like I was missing out on useful items, etc.
• Pikmin - I kept restarting if I lost a few pikmin. :P
• Gothic - Other games got in the way.
• Gothic 3 - Saved in a highly volatile area, kept dying, never fixed it.

Lost Odyssey-Amazing, but very long and I got stuck.

I'll beat Ico and Lost Odyssey eventually, doubt I have the skill to beat Ninja Gaiden II though.
