This was already posted yesterday, and the guy playing was painful to watch.
W1NGMAN-
Why? If you thought that was painful, you would die of pain if you saw me play then :P
I think I just nerdgasmed. http://n4g.com/news/587084/gamescom-2010-killzone-3-singleplayer-gameplay-cam someone link please. This is off screen, but also note that this is the first Alpha build single player footage shown. It is the same area as before, but that was PRE-ALPHA footage. Ive been watching this same clip over and over for like 40 minutes lol. There is absolutely nothing remotely close to this on consoles.TheMISCMan48
Really, is it that hard to link something.
Major meh, looks just like kz2 i need see improvementsbigboss5akYou want to see improvements? Take off the goggles first.

Major meh, looks just like kz2 i need see improvementsbigboss5akIronic part is Killzone 2 to this day still has arguably the best graphics on consoles. Any improvement is just extra. The gameplay on the other hand seems to be greatly improved which is what I was worried about the most.

You didn't get the memo? Bungie invented jetpacks in games. In fact, no FPS ever had guns before Halo did it first. And GG would have never put jetpacks in one of their games had Bungie not done it after KZ: Liberation.

[QUOTE="jg4xchamp"]Why is it that both sides find a way to just top each other in stupidity with the jetpacks comment? Anyway I think that footage is a bit unfair to the game. He kind of sucks :P Personally I don't think I'll personally be sold on the game via footage(In terms of campaign I mean). I like some of the stuff their showing, but I want to see something really just feel more open, and that just isn't going to be conveyed all that well in visual footage(because one level of openness is not enough). I liked the MP footage though, and the countdown to me sniping couth's head off is on :)Couth_Countdown to getting doubled in kills and tripled in points.. That countdown is on idk what your talking about
Things are getting heated. :o

i dont know why but i find killzone to be very generic, along with resistance.
dethroned3
And what is generic exactly? A first person view shooting guns at aliens or other people?
Anyways, it looks like gameplay has improved over the first one (even though I didn't enjoy it so much).

killzone needs more open space, more natural scenery and less metal.
the guns of resistance 2 don't have any weight and i dislike the setting.
a lot of people find halo generic, but i really enjoyed playing halo 1 and 2.

So generic FPSes don't have open space, natural scenary, and a lot of metal? Gun's need weight and a setting you enjoy?
I believe the word 'generic' really holds no weight in SW since people just use it to describe games they don't like.

Even though I find the scenery in the KZ games maybe the worst in the history of FPS-games. Think "scrap yard meets building site (in an early stage)" painted in muddy dark colors and you have KZ2 & 3 in the box. But yes generic has lost it's meaning. It's the word to replace "crap" as in "crap game", now we have "generic game" instead.
Im not one to complain, so I think Killzone 3 looks very good!
I still play Killzone 2 online to this day and I have only got bored of it once, when R2 came out, but that didn't last very long.
I can't wait for it to come out, hope they keep the weighted feel of the controls tho!
