Amazing Steam sales numbers for Horizon Zero Dawn - 3rd best selling title of the week

Congratulations to Sony for another great achievement in sales. Horizon Zero Dawn gets near the top, reaching the 3rd position beating Forza Horizon 4. Lol Microsoft!

They're better off supporting unique PC experiences and Microsoft who provides their games day and date on PC.

The sales for HZD lasted longer on GoG, so most likely the purchase could have spike more than Steam. Most of my gaming purchase tends to go through GoG if a game isn't on the client, than I'll gladly go to Steam.

I don't care what you people say, Sea of Thieves is my game of last gen. I have more than 1000 hours on both the console and PC versions. It's basically Rust but on sea. You're free to interpret how to play as you please, which makes the experiences endless.

But it's also a game where you need at least 2-3 hours of uninterrupted free time per sitting to get anything productive completed, which isn't for everyone.

My original thoughts of Forza Horizon 4 on Steam were:

"Ovepriced. DOA"

But I guess Steam users proved me wrong. PC gamers don't mind waiting for a game to release on PC/steam afterall.

As a PC gamer since 2007, I never pirate and besides, you can find much lower prices on PC if you look of course. Truth be told, CDKeys has always been the best place to buy cheaper new releases and all you gotta do is look. Heck, it really doesn't take that long for games to go on sale anyway. As for old games, GoG is the best place for that😉

Good. Great game, plus it shows Sony the benefits of transitioning to console/PC (in their own way). I just finished Days Gone the other day, and plugged ~30 hrs into the game.

I think thats more or less a no brainer. More exclusives are definitely coming but I highly doubt they'll be released on PC at the same time as on PS consoles. Sony knows exclusives still push console sales

This is an undercover troll post right? You do see that a Microsoft game is number 1, and you'd think since Horizon is a relatively new offering on steam that it would be number 1 for sure but I guess its not that hot a game after all.

Calling it the Rust of the sea is a bit of an overstatement to me unless they completely changed the game from when I played a couple years back.

Rust of the sea is Atlas and I wish that game was more popular and would get more support because it's an amazing idea and a lot of fun to play even if there are a lot of bugs.

Why do I get the feeling this thread was about Sea of Thieves being number one from the start? An oversight that large is too obvious.

i'm glad both Sony and MS first party games are doing well, just means more of their games will come to PC and I wont have to play them on consoles.

I played it for 1 and half hour and its awful. starting is glorified tutorial where you play as young aloy.

If this is standard of sony movie games then i dont want them on PC. keep those trash on playstaion.

Indeed. Don't know which one is worse though, Day's Gone or Horizon, they're pretty equal. Still, might give it another go if it was patched for the PS5 :P

all third person games starting to feel same for me. either they are sony type cinematic games or ubisoftify open worlds.

@ghosts4ever: tell me how does fps games differentiate from one another? All of them are boring floating gun games with terrible storytelling, terrible systems, unrealistic cameras and uninteresting characters. They're basically click to win at this point. Metro is one of the most hideous games I've played my whole life.
