Amazon Sells Out of PS3 Slim Stock.

Here, on Amazon.com currently, this message is appearing on the PS3 Slim's product listing.

In stock on August 28, 2009. Order it now.Amazon

This means that, currently, Amazon has sold its entire stock of PS3 Slims. This is quite interesting for Sony as the Slim was only announced a little over a week ago.

So what do you think System Wars, can this current swing of sales in Sony's favor allow them to outsell the 360 in August as well as September?

$249 and $199 are less than $299, Halo is more popular than Joker DLC , and XBL > PSN. The ps3 is doomed in NA , it's too late.

That's pretty impressive considering the Slim isn't supposed to be released until September 1st.

Unless the PS3 pulls a Wii it becomes the next Tickle me Elmo, don't count on it.

Being that I already have two PS3's, I don't care about the Slim's sales.

I'm sure at that new price poitnt it will move fine though. Amazon's only one source, but I guess if we were to speculate, this is good news for the Slim so far...

Do some reading,they all have very limited stock.thats why theyre sold out.

Where did $249 come from?

LOL@people saying it is not on sell yet so that is why it is out of stock. A shipment of them already arrived at my Gamestop and sold out. The guy said he could sell them because of some loophole that there was "no set street date" on the papers or something along those lines. I did not really press the issue.

I think the PS3 finally found a way to bridge the way for PS2 owners to finally make the big leap to next gen.Bread_or_Decide

Furthermore, the £ is the third-largest reserve currency, after the US $ and the €. The £ is also the fourth-most-traded currency in the foreign exchange market after the US $, the €, and the ¥.

i'll say about the ps3 what i was saying about the 360 when it looked like it was going to get outsold by it's rival

there have been a ton of systems i've played and enjoyed that "lost" it's respective console war

was the genesis less good because it lost? the dreamcast? the neo-geo? the intellivision? the xbox?

you know who wins this gen? me, because i was not a closedminded little fanboy who was inflexable and stuck in his ways and bought a system because it has a specific brandname

i swear to god i just feel sorry for many of you because if you are like this at your current age what will you be like later in life when people are supposed to be closeminded and inflexable
