I love how you just ignore the point which blows apart your entire arguement. You say PS2 is outselling the 360, so 360 must suck. Well it's also out selling the PS3. That's your logic. Not mine.
As for the other point, you fail to comprehend that last gen people already made their choice. Now, after that gen is pretty much over, people buying the PS2 are clearly casual gamers looking to buy a games console with lots of games. Simple logic.
