America is XBOX country!

Seriously in terms of the high-def consoles Xbox has America on lock down. It's games appear to Americans (Halo, Gears) than any other country. It's recognized more than the PS3 for American sports games (Madden). It was egineered by Americans for the American society. I doubt we will see the PS3 pass the 360 this year in America (It will however pass it worldwide IMO) Here's how I see this gen ending

Wii - Will get it's casuals hardcore and dominate sales worldwide

X360 - Take over it's targeted market (America)

PS3 - Take over world wide (bigger support in Japan and possibly Europe.)

They are US made (yet manufactured in china), that's why.

I don't know why some people do, but I'm not claiming that. I honestly think it's too early to claim anything, But I do feel that Nintendo doesn't get much credit here in SW.

Ipod's and Macs are sold in the biggest numbers in the US, because they aren't released at the same time around the world, and by the time they get to eruope or asia, the knock off have sold the market full.

Yeah because Americans are proud to purchase crap. Just like American cars the 360 is good out of the gate but a lemon the longer you own it. If you think the 360 will keep it lead in NA over PS3 than you are a blind fanboy. What is the PS2 install base in NA. Do you really think PS2 owners are going to jump to a lemon of a American engineered machine with all the PS3 exclusives comming out. Dont think so. Lemmings are having a harder and harder time defending the 360 these days because the writing is on the wall. RROD, DVD, reached its graphic limit, noisy, lousy to non-existant first party support.
