Just as I thought 360 would have the edge in software sales but the ps3 will have the edge in hardware.

VGChartz reports that their estimate for American hardware and software chart for week Ending May 3rd, 2008 is as follows:

Wonder why the huge spike in Wii hardware sales... I mean, it can't be Mario Kart can it?

I also nailed my prediction on GTA IV sales and correctly guessed that it wouldn't effect Iron man in the least.

The Wii60 is dominating the top 10 once again, only 1 PS3 game, and we all know what it is. GTA IV deserve to be as the top seller, but damn it's definately the real top seller on the 360, it could've survived and maintain if it was a 360 exclusive.

Unfortunately, If A company sells less harware or software despite of how good they're actually doing regardless of the competition, They are losing, Lemming Rule created back during the Ps3 launch ^^ .

Even if these number arent accurate, u should be happy they arent because for the ps3 to sell more hardware and still sell a million GTA4 copies is still great, u would actually think more 360's would be sold due to the downloadable content people brag about. One thing I was right about though was the ps3 will sell more hardware from GTA4 then the 360 but I knew the 360 would sell more copies in the software department. Lets wait for the real numbers when NPD comes, but so far GTA4 is looking mighty good at those 2 spots.

Starting this fiscal year (April) Nintendo reported they up ended production of the Wii to 2.4 million a month. Perhaps that have something to do with it!

There's over twice as many 360's as PS3's in NA yet it's software sales are nowhere near twice as many. Anyone else ever notice that? If you think about it in terms of percentage, the 360 software sales are actually worse than the PS3's.

I'm still in disbeleif that Mario Kart Wii sold 1.2 million in one week compared to 150k for MK DS :|

Mario Kart DS in Japan sold 190k in its first week, but Mario Kart Wii sold 600k. I don't see why that big push wouldn't happen in the US as well. And the US hates DS.

This is what alot of lemmings are forgetting before they try claim ownage. The GTA4 software sales on the ps3 are better than the 360's relevent to the amount of hardware there is available.
