LOL played for 10 minutes, lights shut off (in game)...looked around for five seconds and was like "nope" and quit the game.

The thing that got me on the first game/s was the immersion and buddy, this game is immersive.

As I said above though I only played for 10 minutes but it seems every bit as great as SOMA, Amnesia, and Amnesia Machine for Pigs.

@mrbojangles25: Amnesia: Machine for Pigs was terrible. It wasn't even Frictional Games that made it. The Chinese Room made it and they fucked it up big time. Anyway...

I really liked the first one, scarred the crap outta me. I never played any of the sequels though.

haven't played an amnesia game since the first. sent shivers up my spine at times. very different types of game but slight bloodborne vibes visually. not same league as alien isolation as far as cat / mouse hide and seek survival horror goes but still up there ish. will keep an eye out for this, maybe two

If one day I ever get to finish TotK I'll turn on my Series X again and play this. If that day ever comes.

Great to hear. The first Amnesia is a classic horror game, but neither of the sequels were very good. Glad we're finally getting another good followup.

I need to be in the right mood to play one of these games though, so it might be a while before I check it out

I tried it on Game Pass yesterday, but it's not my thing. But if you're a fan of this kind of game, you'll like it.

Hopefully they will make a new Penumbra game one day. I always found it scarier than Amnesia, story is also better too.
