I'm going to make a collection of qoutes from sane gamers and keep them in this thread.

If anyone wants to join me, go on ahead.

I'll start with this one:

I own all three systems, and would like to say that the whole "real gamer" is a sad worthless attempt to make some odd arian race of gamer. People that feel the need to segregate the gaming community really show that they either have no life or a passion for burning crosses on peoples lawns. It about having fun people. The ones who want everyone to get along are clearly the insane ones, seeing as they somehow managed to remain ignorant of the astounding propensity humans have to fight and even kill each other for every little thing when there isn't an overarching rule of law keeping them in check. That is not in any way a sane quote in the OP. Its actually rather pathetic and self-serving. There is no way....simply none....that gaming should ever be seen as so self important that factions within it are compared to the KKK or Hitler's Germany. Just none.

I don't care if it was hyperbole, it is still insane to make the comparison between those very real and terrible events to something as universally frivolous as gaming. Sorry.

Yes, Hitler was a bad person, world war II was a terrible event for many. Horrific even. I'm glad they didn't turned it into a video-game many times over for cheap entertainment value.
