Until there is an Official Statement or some basis of fact, there is no reason for argument or debate on this topic.
Games may be set back from time to time. Its unfortunate, but the developers want every consumer to have a quality game. So instead of it releasing early and having problems, Rockstar is ensuring that their final product will be better than their current build.
wow some guys guessing at that, who cares, until we hear it from rockstar i dont car i would say the 360's lack of hdd standard is holding it back more than ps3 dev complications, the games were like almost in the same point of development so its not like ps3 is literally 8 months behind 360, i think rockstar just misjudged how far off the game was and set that release date before knowing
who really knows......but at least is one less game to buy...because it's gonna be hella expensive this coming months buying ps3 games and 360 games...

So the core is not totally useless after all....it can hold back the potential of 360 games now, which is not much.That should teach M$ for rushing a crap console to the market.
I'll tell you why that analyst's "speculation" is pure ****ing garbage. The GTAIV delay is almost 9 months. There is not a chance in hell the PS3 version is the sole reason the game got delayed. Even if the game was made ground up on the 360 and the PS3 version hasn't even been started yet, it wouldn't take that long. Porting the game from the 360 to the PS3 and making both versions equal wouldn't take 9 months. I'm 100% sure Rockstar knew all along the game wouldn't meet its October 16th deadline and they wanted to wait as long as possible to break the news. They obviously weren't going to announce it at E3, and any later from now, people would FLIP. So all in all, this has already been known by Rockstar and Take-Two, they're just now coming out with the news.
