Is not the system itself that I am worry about; it's games them selves that I am worry about. The most of the wii games are shoveware.

If games in the future on PS3, 360, X-Box 720, PS4 turn out to be mostly shovelware like the Wii, I'm hopping onto PC gaming.
Lets say you are playing a game like demon's souls, how would you move? I just don't see how games will work with natal.

Not every game is meant to be ran od Natal though.

good point tbh.
Yeah, that is something I worry about. I'm actually ok with them making casual games (like a set of minigames for instance) as long as the resultant product is actually quality. If they're just going to outsource the games to a punch of crappy third party devs then I will have a problem with it. On the bright side, I think the launch titles will be fairly well thought out and polished, so that should get them off to a good start. It would be cool to be playing Halo Reach. And Im just using my controller to play, like regular. But instead of pressing Y to switch to my pistol. I just made the motion of getting out a pistol and shot like by making a pistol with my fingers.
Also they can make some AWESOME on rails games with NATAL. Not to mention some cool brain age type stuff. Trust me. And when consumers see that they can have NATAL tech for the reported 90 dollars, they'll flip.
It's already fetting very good hype.
It was on front page of CNN.com awhile ago and it was in Time's top 100 inventions of the century or something like that. So I think the Casuals will buy it if it works and has some casual like games like Natal Sports, and Natal Fit.
Whether or not it will be good enough for the hardcore gamer is not known yet.
[QUOTE="Cherokee_Jack"]In other news, the sky will still be blue tomorrow.chansaetIts not a guarantee by any standard. In fact its a huge gamble.
Dude, come on, it's going to sell great. The mass media will be all over it just like the Wii, EA will put out a fitness game for it, etc. etc.
If the tech is as impressive as they say, and if the price point isn't too high, they can't go wrong.
there was an article about kojima almost fainting when he saw natal in action
he also called it a huge improvment , like from 2D to 3D
or something

i dont think its a smart idea to let other people play natal,
even kojima couldnt handle it
and he made Zone Of The Enders! :o
Rofl. In the 70's people thought there would be flying cars by now.
Some people thought 2000 would be the takeover of computers.
Some people thought wii would fail.
Some people thought the Patriots were going to have a perfect season.
Now some people think natal will be big... Gud luck
Obvisouly, with a controller. Using Natal does not mean you 'cannot' use a controller also.Lets say you are playing a game like demon's souls, how would you move? I just don't see how games will work with natal.

i'd go as far to say that most games the 360 crowd want aren't meant to be run on Natal.[QUOTE="15strong"]Obvisouly, with a controller. Or both, if the Natal sections are separate, like in dialog? That's most likely what Fable III will do.Lets say you are playing a game like demon's souls, how would you move? Ontain
No. The only thing Natal will be good for is casual gamers, and they have all already bought the Wii. Plus, if looking between the Wii and the Xbox, the casual gamer will see all the cutesy games on the Wii and buy it. As for all this talk of FPS's and other such games using it, no gamers would buy it for that reason.
Depends on a couple of things. First, price. If its over $100, dont expect it to sell well. Also, MS needs to bundle it with new 360s for $299. Theres no way new adopters are going to pay $400 again when the Wii is going to be $200 or even $150 at that point.
Second, the games. MS better have a great lineup of impressive games, otherwise I aint buyin at launch. They need something for the hardcore and something for the casual. Not a bunch of jumping in front of the camera and hitting balls off of a wall...
Third, marketing. Not that MS wont market the hell out of this, but people need to know about it like they know about the Wii. Much like Avatar was known around the world very quickly, they need to let every Tom Dick and Harry know that this is the future of gaming.
