Good luck. The new 80gb model dont have it, and the older models (especially the 60gb model) is very susceptible to YLOD.

Haha I don't believe that, If it was anything about MGS of FF series then yes I would agree.

GOW is a fantastic series, but it's just another action game to me.

Well there is still hope that sony will eventualy put some kind of BC in the new ps3 models.However I'm tired of wating so im getting a ps2 with copys of gow 1 and 2 very soon :>

That's how Sony rolls, so no PS3 for you then, and no GOW3, that's just the facts of life.

ALSO, Ylod isn't very susceptible, I have been rocking two 60gig PS3 launch models from 2006, and I have purchased 4 others for my family that are still rocking as well.

ylod is a dust issue, or poor ventilation issue, which heat is a problem.

So keep or buy a PS2, to go with your PS3, or don't buy a PS3.

Yeah, I was just explaining that I have bought 6 60gigs at launch for family, and they are all fine. I still own TWO 60gig Launch PS3's, but some fanboy's say some crazy stuff.

Well some people are waiting for a price drop for the PS3 and a proper release date for GOW 3. We'll see what happens then.

It is the same guy i guess, that also "predicted" PS3 would outsell 360 10:1 after MGS4 was out.

I am fairly sure that 99% of GOW3 buyers already have a PS3, and i can confirm this "analyst" does not have the slightest clue of what he is talking about

I'm part of that third.

Each great title that releases on PS3 brings new people to the system. MGS4 brought the most, we'll see what GoW 3 does.

What the analyst says makes sense. If GOW3 ends up selling 9 million throughout its lifespan, it is very likely that only 6 million of those people currently own a Playstation 3.
