It has to be something which has been hyped and didnt receive the score of which SW's was predicting. Hmmm.... Metroid Other: M ..... It didnt score AAA.

I say wait for GT5's score before you decide. I'm not saying GT5 will do poorly; but if it does then I would think that it would be the flop of the year.
Final Fantasy 14. It might have not been as hyped as New Vegas. But it was still hyped considering it was a main Final Fantasy entry. But it scored a 4...They game was pretty much hyped AA. that 4 points off. New Vegas was hyped AAA. It got 7.5, AND 8.5 on the PC version. It's quite clear that FF14 was the biggest flop.

Fallout NV is a fantastic game, technical issues will be patched, the gameplay and story is stellar. If it's a flop, its the most fun flop ive ever played
Gothic 4 is the biggest flop of the year, with FF14 right behind... those games got low scores.. AND they suck.
New Vegas has some bugs but is amazing.
I agree. Gothic 4 was very disappointed for not being related to the previous games gameplay-wise. Fallout New Vegas is an amazing FPS+RPG, much superior to Fallout 3 in gameplay, design, atmosphere and challenge. I can't complain about the bugs in PC version. They are very minor and most of them were corrected with the first two patches.
Mafia II (this is my personal nominee, it scored well but i thought it was a crappy game)
I would give the infamous prize to APB. While Gothic IV will probably make it's Dev go bankrupt never I have seen such fail in such a short time, they managed to go bankrupt in 78 days with a game that took 100 million dollars to make. FFXIV can in the future suck less and probably (I said probably) wont make SE go bankrupt in the near future.
I'm enjoying it more than FO3 (playing the PC version)

Yeah, hyped AAA(GOTY expectations) and it ended with 7.5 & 8.5(PC) both below AAA status. Pretty much a flop by SW rules(which is the only score we go by)

Command and Conquer 4. A different take on RTS that didn't pan out and unfortunately was chosen to end the classic Tiberium Wars Command and Conquer series.
