PS3 exclusives just seem to have a nick of getting these awards every year ey, 2008 was MGS4, 2009 was Uncharted2, 2010 was God of war3 and 2011 belongs to Uncharted 3. What say you lemmings? And guess what, Gears of war 3 was yet again, not even nominated.

And hermits please don't bombard me too hard with your Withcer 2 and BF3 replies because clearly it seems nobody gives a damn about PC games these days which is weird but true.

What's with your obsession with PS3 graphics? You would go to any length it seems, inlcuding citing the Spike VGA's as a credible source.

Batman Arhkham City and Ac Revelations both do have better 3D graphics on PS3

The Witcher 2, Shogun 2 Total War, Battlefield 3, Crysis 2 and even Anno 2070. All these games looks better than Uncharted 3. :P

It really depends on how they are going to grade the games at Gamespot. I dont think they are bias or any of that childish rubbish, but they must be using some sort of grading system,If its Artstyle then anything could win.Gamespotseem to only consider PC games running medium settings against Console versions as its clear the PC has the best technical graphics if they use the highest settings.An Analogy would be:The PC can rev its engine to 10,000 rpm but we are limiting it to 4000rpm. It would be nice if the Gamespot team posted the criteria they use to pick the winner and then we can see how they come to their decisions.

All those PC games may look better than U3, but they are not as complete as a game that U3 is.It's one thing to do someting amazing on a harware that has no capability to be upgraded and it's a complete different story when you do it on non-stp evolving hardware.

Gears of war 3 multiplayer looks better than Uncharted 3's entire single player, IMO. One only has to play on Map azura...mind blowing. soapandbubbles

I'd say it probably had something to do with art st.yle. As great as Crysis 2 and Battlefield 3 look, they don't have an appealing color palette or sense of beauty like Uncharted. Though I'd say The Witcher 2 probably deserved some recognition with that.

I dont care as long as the game has good enough graphics and good animetions with good voice acting. Those three factors are what keep me engaged to a game.

I actually liked the sun glare, since it made me feel like I was playing on Planet Earth (though its odd that every time it was day, the weather was never overcast or anything except sunny).

But its not a game, even without the filter, that is very artistically appealing. Its not full of unique character design and interesting architecture and colors. Of course in a straight up technical graphics fight, its one of the best looking games this year and the snub was a little confusing to me.

Who would have guessed they would have focused on the platforms that are actually providing bribery money to make it into the running. There wasn't that many RPG's to nominate this year and if you want to talk about something thats mediocre, thats funny how Portal 2 got best (as in actually getting the award) male and female performances. While wheatly was a pretty funny character in Portal 2 he wasn't as good as the actual nominated performers.
