I think we all know about the coming and going arguments about issues of the Xbox 360.

WARNING: This contains a use of strong language, if you're wary of that.

Here we have another example.

In summary, a gamer "packed up his second broken Xbox [360]" and sent it to Australian Xbox boss David Mclean, also saying "that he will never deal with Microsoft again." Not because of hardware failure: but because of "'shocking' service that [he] received when he attempted to get his first Xbox 360 fixed."

Thoughts?

Apparently, some workers for MS are more reliable than others, if this aggravated gamer in the article has it right.

Ever read the "World is Flat"? People like MS, Sony, Dell, whoever, doesn't handle repairs internally, they train people at FedEx or Priority to do it in house. That's why repairs are usually quick. MS isn't repairing anything.

I sent mine off last Thursday. Checked the status online and it's on its way back.

I never spoke to anyone. I just requested the box online. The process is pretty automated.

Agreed. Hardware failure doesn't prevent it from having good games.

Yep!! I ment the hardware.

Well then yea, it could be. It's certainly the system most prone to problems I can recall ever owning. At the same time, I rode it like a champion horse since November 2005. It rarely was turned off and never had a problem with it. Even when I sent it in, I could make it work with the towel trick if I left it on. I got the 3 rings at the beginning of September, but towel tricked it and had no problems even when I sent it in. I just decided I wanted to get it over with.

I totally understand where he is coming from. I mean im only on my second xbox 360 but man it took them almost 4 freakin weeks to fix the damn problem in my system and send it back. That pisses me off because they dont give u any of your credit back for those 4 weeks of xbox live gold. I mean its not much money but im still paying for it and they seem to take there sweet time fixing these problems. I mean the least they can do is just take that broken piece of crap and fix it and just sen me a new one dont u think? Would make customers alot happyer not waiting so damn long for something they spent money on.
