I guess the people who tested the game completely forgot to tell Bungie about the flaws in it.

The guy on the right can't read.
Bungie didn't say loot was broken they said they didn't communicate how it worked well.
Either way....he's still a whiny bitch. As if legendary loot is suppose to be easy to attain.

I guess....I stopped playing D3 after I died twice in normal - asked on the D3 forums if the game was suppose to be this easy - and got tons of replies saying "YOU DIED ON NORMAL!!!" and "it doesn't get challenging until half way through the second to last difficulty."
Funny enough, the only reason I died was b/c I was watching TV at the same time playing b/c the game sucked so much ass and was boring....and I'm not about to play 8 hours into a game just for it to become fun in a challenging way.
The game was shit...it's still shit.

HEY EVERYONE! THIS GUY DIED IN NORMAL IN D3! TWICE!
This is an irredeemable black mark. No more posts you make will ever be valid, all of your opinions are now void and meaningless. Good day sir.
So many don't get this game, they treat it like a linear FPS game, and fail to see the depth of the game

The only mode that has meaningful depth is the raid. Everything else is incredibly mindless.

I can't tell if you're deliberately trying to be like a 12 year old or making fun of the ppl on the D3 forums.
Either way....the game is just shit. The fact that I had to watch TV while playing it just to make less boring while going through the first difficulty is testament to that.

The PVP is fun as hell and the strike on harder difficulty is pretty hard to do. It's not that mindless

No it's not... I usually just speedrun those so I can get the end rewards... PvP is fun, but matchmaking is dragging it down. I've had many games where either my team would just drop out middle of the game while we're winning (These spots will never fill during the match) or just random players idling and we ultimately lose due to the enemy team killing the idlers.

I can't hear you over the sound of how horrible you are at existing mr dies-on-toddler-mode.

It is completely mindless. The campaign has no varying mission design, they are all linear shootouts which end with horde mode. The strikes are also the same, except they all end with a bullet sponge boss which take forever to kill. I can have a casual conversation playing Destiny with my friend. I don't really need to think about the action most of the time, its all very simply and easy. The story is also nonexistant, so I can't even think about the world of Destiny when I shoot other aliens. Destiny is probably the most mindless shooter I have played in the last few years.

Of course Legendary loot shouldn't be easy to acquire. But the loot system shouldn't be misleading either, which is the real point of contention. If purple drops are rare, that's fine. But a purple drop shouldn't result in a blue, or even worse a green item. Once the engram drop has been determined from one algorithm randomization calculation, it's shouldn't be randomized a second time to produce an item of a lower tier. The calculations should be set with data using the color (tier) as a set of parameters for the final outcome.

I have a video recorded on my phone, decrypting three legendary engrams at once. 2 turned out blue and one turned into ascendant shards. The RNG of this game is really too much.

The Ascendant shard is at least useful, as you'll need that to upgrade legendary weapons damage ranks at higher tiers in their upgrade tree. And those are much harder to come by than most of the other environmental resources (spin metal, spirit bloom, relic iron, etc..) I have a legendary auto rifle and rocket launcher, and still only mid way in their upgrade development.
@AdobeArtist: Thats fine...but from what I remember it says on a list when you hover over the engram that it may turn into a rare and will not always be a legendary. Which is the whole "We didn't communicate well with how this works" deal. IT wasn't what this guy was saying it was.
Plus I've heard non stop bitching about how legendaries are hard to get blah blah....yet I along with just about anyone I see now-a-days is level 26 and above. So they must have some legendaries. Again....they aren't suppose to be easy.
@Vaasman: ok

Oh I am aware of their uses. Currently level 28, was just disappointed with the blues heh. I've already beat VoG which is the best source for the shards, too bad its a once a week type thing and the fact that the queen's mission rewards don't give shards when dismantling anymore.
Why do we care so much for this whinny fanboy rants??? honestly who the **** cares about Angry Joe...he is annoying as hell and love to pretend he is right about everything...guy is pretty much every SW user but with a youtube account, so please, stop posting everything he puts on his channel.
The more I hear about some of this stuff the more I get upset.
I probably won't be buying anythin else from Bungie regarding this game unless it's got a lot of content....b/c if the Xpac/DLC stuff is just a few missions, a strike and a raid....and was on disc DLC....then, nope....gonna play the game I bought and live with it.
Either way....the game is just shit. The fact that I had to watch TV while playing it just to make less boring while going through the first difficulty is testament to that.
Are you talking about Destiny or DIII?
What do they both have in common -> Shit loot systems and both hated.
@mr_huggles_dog: At least now you understand why so many people got frustrated with the game
I understand feeling ripped off....I don't understand claiming it's a bad game.
It's far from a bad game. The gameplay, which is something so many claim is the ultimate factor, is the best....it really is the bees knees.
But a 6? or whatever some review sites are giving it is just ridiculous. They didn't know at the time that things were taken out of the game...at least I woudn't think so. Again...the hype is what got this game.
But I completely understand ppl thinking there was more to this game than what there is and feeling cheated. I just never was excited about this game until I played the beta and I've done almost no research on the subject. So, I have nothing to go on....now I see why ppl feel the way they do....and I understand it.

Yeah, this is pretty lame. I think Bungie said itll be fixed in the next patch. Still really dumb.
