Well, that was the last game of the year that had a chance of getting a 9.5+. So I guess 2007 beats 2008 with six 9.5+ games to 2008's three 9.5+ games. Persona 4 definitely won't get a 9.5.
But good score, nonetheless. Exactly what I expected. I just thought that maybe, just maybe, they'd give it a 9.5.

Well when the decade is done I guarantee WoW will be called Game of the Decade I believe it. It will certainly be the most successful game ever, it redefined a genre (and continues to dominate it no less), it likely has more total playtime than any game ever, and it currently has three AAA games. Something big needs to come out in the next two years in order to unseat it. (Come on D3....:P)

Is it really an exclusive since its available on PC and MAC? Two different platforms, imo.
A Mac is a personal computer, it just a different brand of personal computer.
Besides, GameSpot doesn't even review Mac games because they just expect people to read the PC review because all the things apply. They don't even give Mac games REVIEWS because they count it as an extention of the platform. I'd say that's about as strong of evidence as you can get for them being the same platform.

been playing a lot of it. Although there is lots of stuff to do it is way to easy for my taste. I come from a long line of "hardcore raiding" guilds and first night of 25 man naxx we got 7 bosses down. Now i know this doesn't mean anything for non wow gamers and casual wow player but people like me excessively addicted to the game know what I am talking about. That's not to say I don't have a life I work and go to University iI just have time management skillzorz...
Wintergrasp Fortress owns. The part of my brain that is obsessed with laying siege to and defending fortresses (A large chunk FYI) forces me to love WotLK.
I was very unimpressed personally. I played the game over a buddies that i use to raid with. I have been done with WoW for a little over a year now but i wanted to try it anyway. Yes, i know i've spent alot of hours on it...don't bring up my Xfire WoW hours please.
It just felt...meh. Maybe it's because i'm bored of the game in general now but, to me, raising the level cap so that it's nothing but a grind every year is stupid. The other stuff is sort of meh as well. Death knights are essentially a Ret paladin with a few Warlock type attributes that depends on Runes rather than Mana. id, maybe it's just me. I was unimpressed though.
WOW really is amazing with what it has accomplished. I think it is safe to say that this is one game that casuals can play hardcore. There is this 40 year old mom in my college class that plays WOW.

No the expansions in the game are mainly for higher levels. Burning crusade is pretty much level 50 content. But you can play one of the 2 new races for the game. Wrath of the lich king is all lvl 58+ content it seems.

Persona should get a 9 it seems if the rpg does not have Final Fantasy in the name it doesnt get a 9. Paper Mario got a 9.5. Chrono Cross got a 10. The World Ends With You got a 9. Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door got a 9.2. Dragon Quest VIII got a 9.3. It's just Final Fantasy games tend to be better than most JRPGs, quite truthfully. I had a few 8.9's I wanted to name, but they were .1 away! I really can't think of too many non-Final Fantasy JRPG games, now that I think about it.
