Another CoD4 vs. Halo3 thread.

Which game do you think has the better SINGLE PLAYER CAMPAIGN? I'm not talking about multi-player or online. I just want to know which game you think has the best sp game?

Halo 3 SP kind of sucked... CoD4 was a lot better.

Halo 3 was alot more epic then CoD4

CoD4 had the frantic intense SP

Halo 3 had the huge gigantic epic scope of a movie SP

Agreed. The flood ruined it for me. And I didn't really like using the vehicles much either.

COD4 was a lot more epic and I even prefered it's story (mainly because of how lame MC is).

I just beat the CoD4 sp game and while I thought it was great, it seemed like it was over before it began and would it have killed IW to include a real boss fight at the end? Though it does have a lot of replay-ability. I don't have Halo 3 yet that's why I'm asking you guys which one you think is better.Bigboi500

To me CoD4 felt like an episode of 24 where as Halo 3 felt like star wars.

Halo 3 is more epic and I can still have fun with Co-op where COD4's SP should've have been longer, harder, and co-op.

Halo 3 had single player campaign? I wouldn't know, I played through the campaign with guys I know from work.

Ok ok, you got me, sp is better in COD4 but if you are going to start putting disclaimers in every comparason where does it stop?

When i first play COD4,felt me like i was a real soldier. Real weapons,physics,extremely good sound,Graphics..

If you ask me COD4 is one step ahead of all games exists in term of REAL war. That and only that make it the best FPS there is on the market atm. In my opinion of course.

There are many alien-fantasy-gothic FPS out there. Halo 3 is just that. Cant compete to COD4,cause even if its acool game ,dont make you feel like a real soldeir,nor feel theres war around you. Same for Crysis.

But without doubt is a very nice game. Nothing can go near COD4 though.

Back on topic, Halo 3 SP easy. Theres much more variety in the level types and enemies. In COD 4 it's always feels like your fighting the same enemy over and over again, but in H3 there's different types of enemies who use different tactics in battle. Now the levels in COD 4 are different visually but they all feel the same. In H3 one level might be indoors with little room to maneuver but the next level your outside in a open battlefield.

The story in Halo 3 trumps COD 4 easy I don't think I need to explain myself here. Overall Halo's campaign is much more Epic in scope.

The single player portion in Halo 3 just shows how lazy Bungie is. Short, boring and uneventful. There wasn't a single moment in Halo 3 that really made me go "wow, that was damn cool". In CoD4 I can think of several moments where I was really impressed. Call of Duty 4 was short but it was the best campaign mode Infinity Ward has ever done, right up there with the original CoD (still the best CoD though).thepiebaron

....yeah u try legendary BY YOURSELF? i'm only half way by myself, i'm in the part with all the flood are on teh captured covenent ship trying to get cortona back.

true best SP infinity ward has done becuase they haven't done alot of singe player games...best SP in cod franzhise tho, imo, it does have one wow moment with the helicopter tho, but in halo, when i was driving the warthog at the end WOW, holy crap my pants just fun, not hard, and the desert lvl with the scarab attacks made me feel like a tiny soldier but i stil killed it, that sfun as heII, plus the other scarabs.....those were fun to. all WoW moments in my book.
