[quote="9GN"]...a 2D point-and-click adventure set in a sci-fi/noir universe...funsohngI came. We need MOAR OF THESE.I'd like to see what a big budget could do with this type of game. Sadly, most with the big budgets are too scared to do something new.
That's because you have exquisite taste. ( I haven't complimented you in awhile, so I figured I was past due :P )Now that´s my kind of game! :D

Assuming they are doing what they said and not become a GTA-wannabe in the end.

As much as I like GTA, I don't want it to be anything like it. I have a feeling we will be hearing people **** about it not being as good as GTA no matter if it tries to be or not.

Being better than RDR would be, personally, a lot harder.[QUOTE="funsohng"] Well, there is LA Noire. Assuming they are doing what they said and not become a GTA-wannabe in the end.millerlight89
I read about this many months ago. I always thought it looked really good.
Is it going to be on Steam, and other download sites?
The good thing is this game can probably be played by anyone on here. PC gamer or not, the system you are sitting on right now can probably run it. It seems that this game, as great as it is, doesn't justify considering a gaming rig in the least bit. Just trowing that out there.:)

asking about a Steam release.

Wow an adventure game earning high praise. Let's see how it fares on GS.
Somehow, I doubt GS will review it.
Gamespot hasn't even reviewed Drakensang: The River of Time yet. I doubt they'll care for an indie adventure game.I got the special edition on CD through preorder. It is honestly one of my favorite game experiences of the year. The story is amazing and it's quite easy to progress though the game compared to most point and click adventure games, so even gamers who don't really like them should check it out.

Considering how the game came out in February, I'd say that was a safe bet. Even if they did, Gamespot is never a particularly good place for adventure game reviews.
Still, it's a great game. It doesn't do anything groundbreaking, but it's a solid throwback to the golden age of adventure gaming.
