PS3 with HDMI: just look at the jagfest, textures and lightning... it looks ok, but lets take a look at the 360 version.

360: utterly destroys the ps3 version.
conclusion: PS3 + hdmi + 4D is not enough. 360s graphical power is superior

not to sound like a lame defense but...isnt it true that sometimes if you use an OVERLY good video cable on some games that they make the game look worse by showing all the graphical flaws...and whatever...im not that anal about the graphics to the point that something unless i have to actually stare at the screen to notice bugs me...im more concerned about the actual fun of the game...Cronarothno
BULL***!!!!! 4-D can kiss my ***!! Those are fake and I know it cuz I play it. He probably used the composite connection like I've seen in the past on Resistance tv shots here on the boards. Yeah I beat Gears as well and while that is still the king for now, Icon is no joke but those pics are!You know you make yourself look stupid considering there have been quite a few multi-plat titles that have reportedly looked better on the 360 than the PS3. Games like Home court, Call of Duty 3 etc.
PS3 is just gonna get better from here on out and most mutha***** certainly hasn't 'peaked' yet unlike.....nvm just forget it I cant reason with these ppl anymore. It's like the youth nowaday have Alzeimer's (spellcheck) disease or something.

hmmm I swore that sometimes good cables can make games look crappy...I remember my Castlevania Symphony of the Night for PSone looked grainy as hell when ran through component video.........i dont know...maybe it's different with PS3 but arent most PS3 games only going up to 720P anyways?Cronarothits just that if anything it should only be an improvement really, if only a slight one. component and hdmi can both do 720p just fine, you're just moving up from analog, (which is subject to signal loss due to poor insulation other factors) to a digital signal which is 100% clear at all times. it doesnt "amplify" the bad, it just does a better job at showing you what is really there.
