:LOL: vgchartz, but last month when Bioshock they showed the 360 outselling the PS3 2 to 1 and the real story was even worse for the PS3 as the 360 outsold it by more than 2 to 1. Now Battlefield. Lets bring up FFXIII, but the fact remains the 360 software is outselling the PS3 by alarming amounts, IE MW2, Bioshock 2, and now this. Discuss and dont get defensive please.

Can't say I care much. The PS3 is still selling enough to make the developers happy and as long as I get the games I don't mind the 360 versions outselling them

FF13 is only sold on the 360 in NA. Just look at every other game, the 360 smashes the PS3 in software for the most part.

It's not about sales, it's about how many people play online. Many PS3 online games are ghost towns a few months after they come out (ie LBP, Killzone 2, Uncharted 2, Resistance, etc. etc.). This is due to lack of sales. That's what makes me worry the most.

Yea the 360 wins the software battle but the PS3 software puts up impressive numbers as well and they have a smaller userbase.

Notice how close software numbers were:

360- 2,086,162

Ps3-2,048,697

Maybe PS3 owneres prefer to save some money for exclusives and pick up multiplats when they get cheap?

i think it's pretty obvious that BFBC2 has already sold a lot on 360 just judging by where it stands on xbox live rankings

Beats me why you wouldnt play it. It actually has a story, and one of the best out there.Unlike those previous FPS's you mentioned (except mag)

Wonderful atmosphre, exploring, enemies, fun multiplayer (This surprised me its fun once you get good at it)

i would edit that one more time since its completely false. Both those games barely beat out the 360 sales and one had joker exclusive content, and the other was marketed for the PS3 first and foremost.

its pretty simply actually, people usually by sequels to games they own on a specific system, and since the original bioshock was out on 360 for a year before it hit the ps3, most people have the 360 version of the original hence they also bought the sequel on 360.
