You do realise that many hermits here own multiple systems right? Right? I've always own consoles but I still regard myself as a hermit since I define PC as the best and my favoured gaming platform, anytime anyday. So I suppose no console exclusives are worth anything since many hermits here actually own consoles so we have access to that. Your definition of System Wars and exclusives are too narrow-minded, unsustainable for any serious argument and not based on reality.
System wars or console wars is practically a bragging war. My plattform is more powerfull! My plattform has better exclusives! My plattform has more games! and so on. If you own said plattforms said criterias should not affect you. Then there are fanboys or haters and it does not even matter if you own all plattforms if something good or bad happens to a certain plattform it would still affect them.
Your second statement...thats just your opinion, dude and holds no water here nor anywhere else due to how weak it is. The PC strongest point has always been its flexibility and wide accessibility, it caters and offers games on all levels and budgets which is defined by PC users. Thats why PC will always have the biggest playerbase, its entry level is actually super low. The only reason why gfx is always on the forefront of arguments in SW is because its the most easily quantifiable subject of comparison across all 3 major platforms.
Thats my whole point the lower the requirements are the less worthwhile the games are from the exclusive bragging side. Exclude is the synonym to Exclusivity. But who exactly is excluded here with darkest dungeon? People that surfe the internet exclusive on tablets and smartphones? The requirements are so low that those are the only people not able to play this game.
...That and people like shiny new stuff.
