I have not been a fan boy of any particular system for years. For me it is entirely based on the quality you get in the product you purchased. The quality I have recieved from Sony has been the worst I have ever experienced... below is my most recent experience.

I have long hated Sony for the BS they put me through in my time playing SWG (back before they ruined it) and EQII. About 6 months ago I purchased a playstation 3 because I wanted a good bluray player and for 100.00 more I get another game system. Well my hard drive has been crap from day one though I didn't realize it until it finally

I purchased my playstation at H-E-B (Texas residence know what I am talking about.). For everyone else it's like a K-Mart. Anyhoosle... I purchased a 250 GB model, it's in a silver box, and it says 250GB /Go on the front. Yet when I sent it to Sony for warranty repairs, they tell me that I sent them a 120GB model. I don't know how... I don't own a 120GB model, nor do I know anyone stupid enough (other than myself) to waste their money on anything Sony that isn't a TV. So I checked my box, and my receipt. They both reflect 250GB model PS3. So I call Sony back. They say no... I sent them a 120. So I reiterate what HEB told me, (that's impossible) because HEB doesnot accept system returns and do not repackage anything. So they ask for the UC2 code at the bottom of the box. They say that code is for a 120GB system! WTF?!? right? My 250box with its 250GB receipt contained a 120GB system!

So I talk to some big wig at HEB who also sends an email to a bigger wig... They agree this is a packaging error on Sony's part. I forward said information to Sony. In short and in more words, Sony tells me "tough ****".

They say according to the system they have received from me and the code at the bottom of the box, it's a 120 GB system...

BUT THE BOX SAYS 250GB SYSTEM THUS I WAS CHARGED FOR A 250GB SYSTEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ALL OF THIS BECAUSE SONY****** IT UP AND WONT DO ANYTHING TO ADDRESS THE ISSUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sucks to be you I guess :?

Glad I never had to deal with any of that, and my experience with sony has been the best in my entire gaming life.

Lol @ a 360 owner complaining about bad customer service.

YEAH I hate Sony for that Too!

And I also Hate Microsoft for Putting out Faulty Systems on the Market Too. My First Xbox 360, First Xbox Ever, First time to play Halo ODST in my Room for the First Time It tells me that it can't read a New Disc! A NEW DISC!

Yeah I totally RAGE on the Company because we payed $300 for a system that can't read discs!

Moral of this Story, if you just recently bought it, then why didn't you return it to the store you got it from?

I love HEB. Anyway sorry for what you went through TC. Crap happens I guess. I sent my PSP GO in a few months back to get repaired and I never got it back. Got a confirmation from Sony they received it but when some weeks passed I called to check on the status. Now they have no record of ever getting it.

You were better off replacing it with a 500 or 640gb hard drive anyway. It's a cheap ~$100 upgrade.
