anti- halo 3

i miss my 360. i really do. gears, prey, fear, dead rising, orange box, the clancy games....the 360 is still my fav. system even though i recently got rid of it. i also loved the 1st halo but was dissapointed with the 2nd. i hoped the 3rd one would get me interested but.......

its worse then halo 2!!!!!!!

the 1st person i ever shot online i shot him in the back with the shotgun. then i shot him in the head from....10 ft. away. he kills me with a few shots from the battle rifle after my first 2 shots. this happens all the time.

the multiplayer maps for the most part are awful. and now we will have to pay for new maps when we got ghost recons and vegas maps for free. even fear had then for free.

i dont miss the peeps on xbox live. alot of them were cool but........lord. go ahead and give me those smart *** comments but it is true. and it doesnt get worse then a match in halo 3.

First off, this is entirely your opinion which doesn't make it fact. Some will agree with you and some will not. Secondly, blog this next time. This thread is not needed.

Are you complaining because you suck at Halo? perhaps you're inability to use the shotgun is more the problem than the game? The Shottie is awesome close up, 2 shots aimed accurately like you say will kill anyone. I'm guessing that a) you're either too far away or b) your aim is not so good.blue_hazy_basic

I doubt that someone would miss using a shotgun really close, anyone can use an analouge stick to shoot someone from that range, my guess is the game could have lag online, that could be the game or the server. I thought halo 3 online was not that good anyway. For online its COD4. Then it will be UT3, then it will be SOCOM.

Halo actually has surpriingly little lag. I only experience it maybe in 1 in 10 games and even then it tends to be brief

call of duty 4 and quake 3 arena on PC. i have COD4 on the PS3. my PC cant play most of the high end stuff. i like heroes and metroid on the Wii also. the Wii is good for shooters when it is done right.prodiqy32

Bioshock and gears aren't exclusive, niether are the Halos. Who knows about Halo3 though?

You got taken out because:

a. your aim was off and you were 10 feet away. Shotguns fire shots of metal balls that spread as they reach the target. So to kill , you need to be closer than 10 feet.

b. You're shields were down a bit and a couple battle rifle head shots will finnish you off. Maybe a grenade cliped you a bit.

c. You may have been exagerating and it was really 4 BR shots, 3 to the chest, 1 to the head.

My point is that there are numerous ways you take damage in Halo 3 and if you don't keep an eye on your shields, then you'll die in most of your encounters. There are grenades flying, OTHER peoples bullets flying and some may hit you.

You need to build your skills man, and don fret over small stuff, just come correct next time around. If you have a Shotty, YOU HAVE NO BUSINESS firing it from over 5 feet away. If you pulled your AR, then a few rounds in the back wouldve taken Mr. BR out with the quickness. When you fired off that shotty, all it did was tell Mr. BR to turn around and try to defend himself.

COD4 multiplayer is probably more on your level, I played it and after playing Halo , getting kills in COD4 is easy as hell. It's like playing SWAT in halo with one shot one kill.

Um halo3 does not deserve a 9.5. It is no where near the caliber of what haloCE was when it came out and that got a 9.7 from here if im not mistaken. Halo3 is mediocre to the games that have come out this year. Id take STALKEr, crysis, bioshock, UT3, and COD4 over halo3 any day. Oh but you havent played it. Yeah I have. The single player was boring as usual(halo2 anyone). The multiplayer doesnt really do anything for me anymore because there have been greater games that have had better online experiences.

There is absolutely no way you can say its worse than halo 2. It's an improvement in all respect. The campaign is up there with Halo1, as opposed to Halo 2's which was a huge step backwards. The multiplayer gameplay is pretty much the same, refined with tweaks to weapon damage, new maps, new weapons, vehicles and equipment.

Your thread is just whining. Read the whole thing; you dont actually make one valid criticism. "its just bad and i hate it and its rubbish and i dont like it and its bad and :cry:"

Also, if you shotgun somebody from 10ft away there's no way they'll die on Halo. You have to be way close than that to break the energy shields and get a kill.

i probably owned you on several games. the point of the thread is why you do not hype the better games on the 360. halo 3 sucking is just part of the thread. halo was a classic. the 2nd best single player FPS on the xbox and one of the best multiplayer games. but the series went downhill in my opinion. most reviewers feel they have to give it a good score because they hyped it so much. prodiqy32

No, Ill agree that bioshock is good but the lasting appeal killed it for me. And yes crysis deserved it. If you read the reviewers that gave it only AA or low AAA. They say its one of the greatest FPS expereinces they have ever had but the thing that killed the game was hardware requirements and the ending wasnt very good(Its a triliogy).

Problem number one: you make comments on the campaign yet you haven't even beaten it. You've only killed 117 enemies, which is like what, first two or three levels, tops?

Problem number two: your most-used weapon is the sniper rifle. That's incredible. You seem to have a complete inability to use the main weapons you're spawned with, particularly the AR which is your fourth most used gun. Usually it's first, or second to melee if you're a big melee user.

You've played 115 games yet you're only a level 34 lieutenant.

Your kills and deaths are pretty much equal; you die a lot.

In other words, you're not very good. There's nothing wrong with that, but dont blame the game. That's just sad. Learn how to play; especially seeing as you think you should be able to kill someone with the shotgun form 10ft away. :roll:
