I'm not over 25 I'm 3 years off and I still play Pokemon. But I haven't bought any new ones after Pokemon Crystal was released because I don't really buy Handheld games for some reason.

if you want to play it so bad just buy a used ds for super cheap don't waste your money on the dsi

Actually Nintendo said they are making games for the DSi that can only be played on the DSi because it uses those exact features that you say will not be used after the first week.

well nintendo lied..and the only reason the are making the games to run only on the dsi are so you have to buy one and replace your DS, also the games won't be pokemon games so what does it matter, they wii probably be gimmicky trash

I'm 21 years old and I have recently played Pokemon Pearl for the DS. I wouldn't go around bragging about it, and would most likely prefer that none of my casual gamer friends knew that fact. That still can't downplay the fact that Pokemon is probably the most fun and addictive RPG of all time. There, I said it.

I have it the other way around, I have Diamond and she has Pearl
It's a well crafted game that's got something for all ages
Pretty much the only thing that prevents users from playing it after a certain age is self esteem. If you have it then you just keep on playing Pokemon if you like it. If you're lacking then you go find things that make you feel better about yourself, maybe something with blood or guns.

That's fine that you don't like the same things anymore, not everyone's tastes stay the same.
If you were doing it only because of your age I'd say you have bigger issues to deal with, in your case that's not what happened (as you presented it)
I doubt I'm the only one that has the same view on it.. I bet if you went into a pub and asked everyone in there if they played pokemon, no one would say yes trust me
