Put your hand up if you're a fan of this remaster.
This is my first proper venture into the series and its incredibly addictive so far.
What are your memories of the skating series??

Same boat. Never played the series until recently I played the remaster at a family members. I really like it. Oddly feels kind of like an action game, which is up my alley.
Currently on sale, but spending money is tight this time of year. Probably buy it once the Trump bucks come in.
My memories were on PC and I think PS1 had spiderman right? I was playing horse with friends on my pc taking turns then at there house i'd watch them play as spiderman on ps1 an stuff.
I don't remember this game on xbox or nintendo at all when they came out this was purely a sony and pc big hitter for me personally i don't think xbox was even around when this game came out I dunno even know why its on xb1 i said it previously too ps1 was before xbox.
The only one I ever played was Project 8 but I liked it, saw these on sale but I got a lot on my plate at the moment.
Didn't grab the remasters. I had a ton of fun with the series, but burned myself out on it for life lol.
But yeah, enjoyed 1, 2 and 3 a lot, played an obscene amount of THUG1, then finally hung it up after THUG2.

Remember breaking up a fight over a score bet, shit was so dumb lol
A GOTY contender in my book. I was playing it the other day while watching American Pie and drinking a Surge. It doesn’t get much better than that!

Surge pfff...it's all about mello yellow
@ProtossRushX: Mtn Dew, Surge, Sprite, Squirt, Mtn Lighting, Citra, Sierra Mist, Sun Drop > Mello Yellow
It's in my top 3 games of the year I loved it so much. I remember back in 1999 going with my cousin to Blockbuster video and renting it and was really impressed by it so much nostalgia for 1999 in general. Anyway I can't wait until 3 remastered and 4 you know they are going do it since the remasters sold extremely well I bet we will get announcement at E3 if there is one and if not it will be at the Summer of gaming.
Played the originals back in the day and have this Remaster. It's great. Activision did an awesome job of bringing Crash and Tony Hawk back. Crash 4 is great too.
Oh hell yeah. I bought it at launch and still play. I loved THPS 1-3 and the THUG games back in the day.
Will buy a second hand copy next year on the cheap, i will never buy a new copy of any CRAPtivision game after what they did to Bizarre.
yeah im a big fan of the series, first time playing was as a kid on N64, that and 1080 snowboarding got a lot of playtime. Think ive played every TH game besides that weird one with the physical board thing. But yeah the remaster was fantastic. Its my game of the year. Gave more playtime for me than most games. Its everything I wanted from it.
Now i just need them to do the exact same thing with SSX....
I actually bought THPS5 at launch... it was the worst game I have ever bought at full price.
I love THPS1+2. It brings back a lot of memories of playing THPS 1 on my N64. Frankly, I think this remake is better than the original games.
What about 4?
I "beat" the game and all that, but didn't play it nearly as much as the others. Probably busy with other stuff at the time.
THUG1 was the one that got me and my buds back on in full force lol. Probably spent more time in the Moscow stage alone than playing the rest of the series combined. We'd just take turns on combo runs, few of us got consistent at billion+ point combos. Was pretty wild, holding a single combo for like 15+ minutes.
Kinda got the same way with Skatopia in THUG2, but didn't stick with it nearly as long. Just burnt out on that gameplay.
Can you actually fill me in on the Epic Store thing? It seems like a certain circle of PC gamers is vehemently opposed to buying anything from the Epic Store ever (not referring to anybody specifically, just an observation I've made). Is it basically just that it's not Steam?
@IMAHAPYHIPPO: Epic hands developers cash for exclusivity deals. Many people don't use it out of some kind of principle I guess.
Played the original first two along with cool boarders on ps. I refuse to ruin my memories of a badass game.
I’ve been a huge fan of the Tony Hawk series since pro skater 2, and have played every single one of them. Each game introduced me to some awesome music that I still listen to regularly, so needless to say I love the remaster and have already put a lot of time into it.
