For me it'd have to be the Warriors games, I own all the ones released on PS4 and play them frequently, One Piece Pirate Warriors 3 was actually my GOTY in 2015 alongside Dragon Quest Heroes (shoot me).
What franchises are your guilty pleasures?

Assassin's Creed.
Hell i even liked Unity :v
Same lol.
I mean, I can see the series going down the crapper with each successive instalment, and the only game in the series I've genuinely liked since Revelations is Black Flag, but I still play AssCreed every now and then and I usually have a good time.
Except Syndicate, I just couldn't bring myself to like that one for some reason.

:D Yeah , i loved Black Flag, after ACII and AC Brotherhood it's my fav AC.
Haven't played Syndicate yet , but i'll grab it on sales.
Honestly, no I don't think I do... I finally cut the assassins creed umbilical cord, which leaves me with 40 extra hours a year to play games that are different and often times far better executed than AC.
Personally, i can't get enough of historical settings and AC series have always nailed it !
The Risen games I guess? I don't really feel guilty about enjoying them but I can recognize parts of those games are pretty poor. Didn't stop me from enjoying the last couple Risen's more than the last couple Bethesda RPGs.
Far Cry 2, Far Cry 3, and Far Cry 4. Not getting Primal though. I also have Far Cry 1. But, I much prefer the Dunia ones.
Twin stick shooters.....I buy every single one that comes to Xbox One, no exception almost. I come from the arcade era and those top down/sidescrolling shooters were very popular back then. Yeah they are repetitive and many barely hold my attention for more than 1 session, but every now and then I find a diamond in the rough.....my most recent discovery is a PC port called Crimsonland(I think that's the name)
The other reason I enjoy these games is they usually have catchy trance/electronic soundtracks....good for quick play sessions though. Ok I'm done embarrassing myself
Those are my guilty pleasure and I have no shame.
Just started the series thanks to Dimensions (3DS). Pretty fun, despite the One Piece: Grand Battle quality story mode.
Anyway...
Most anime/manga licensed fighters (Dragon Ball Z, Naruto, One Piece, and Zatch Bell!)
Gauntlet series (screw Seven Sorrows though)
LEGO series (except Rock Band, that is an example that even Harmonix was also guilty in "killing" the music genre last gen)
Assassin's Creed
BloodRayne (you couldn't call any of those games among the best action games, but to say they weren't fun is a lie)
Far Cry 2, Far Cry 3, and Far Cry 4. Not getting Primal though. I also have Far Cry 1. But, I much prefer the Dunia ones.
Far Cry series are great , i loved FC3 and i believe the series peaked at that being one of the best open-world shooter experiences.
FC4 let me down tho , it looked A LOT like FC3 ...like you're playing the same game.
Assassin's Creed well since Ezio's story ended anyway. I feel I should hate and abhor them but I still but everyone of the core franchise. Hell I even bought Syndicate after vowing to myself that I would not waste my money and then the moment I saw it for £22, a whole week after launch, I buckled and bought it. I'm even more annoyed that I enjoyed it.
I don't believe that I do honestly... I haven't taken to call of duty ever. I've dabbled in Assassin's Creed, but haven't consistently bought them. I wouldn't say I feel guilty about NSMB as I'm vocal how amazing the console games are... however I feel like I'm forgetting something.
