Just curious as PC doesn't have its own conference but Microsoft i'm assuming will only cover the 360? before I watch it just want to know if any PC coverage is mentioned in it or not. I don't own a 360 or intend to get one anytime soon but would like to see some PC platforms from the 360 as well.

Thanks.

Well since PC isn't backed by any one major corperation, all the PC games will be at booths and showrooms.

Yeah thats what I was thinking to... but yeah I agree PC gaming is making a come back and will give the consoles a run for their money, not to be fanboyish as I have nothing against consoles, just for my situation PC gaming is the easier thing for me to go with.

A lot of the games shown on Xbox are also on PC, but they didn't bother talking about the pc version because PC is pretty irrelevent in the gaming market.

Well, they started on it. But no one in their right mind bought subscriptions for the GFWL service. MS made it free, but after that they just decided Xbox Live was more profitable.

well part of the problem is getting devs to build the service into tthe games, which they really don't have any control over,

I'm confused. When SC: Conviction was showed, the guy said "Exclusively on Xbox 360 this fall" yet it's on PC?

I think it's going to be out first and a few months later the PC version is released.

E3 is primarily a corporate show.

PC gaming doesn't have a corporate "sponsor". Although MS makes the OS for PC gaming, they pretty much do nothing to tout it since they released the original Xbox back at the beginning of this decade.

It doesn't mean PC gaming isn't relevant. It just means it isn't a controlled platform hardware wise.

PC gaming is open platform. No one can "represent it."

if they actually put all the features of xbl in gfwl then they might make some money off it. gfwl is a joke, it has nothing on it except some fallout 3 dlc, no downloadable games or anything decent, gfwl is just a multiplayer service with achievements, ms doesn't seem to care to challenge steam and the less they do to imporve it probably the more games will start using steam achievements and online servers. ms needs to support it more if they are to not just let it die to steam. services like gamersgate are doing far more than ms, its like ms doesn't really care for pc anymore (again) they see more money in xbox with their controlled service that they can charge when every they like and people will pay it.

that was funny like ms paid him to say that, later in the interview the other guy said coming the pc and xbox 360. show ms is losing interest in pc again after their charging for online failed so it makes then next to no money.

lol, why would you want that? Seriously.

Anyway, it's pretty obvious Microsoft's commitment to their own Games for Windows brand is pretty non-existant.

In Computex show, there's the joint AMD, TSMC, Microsoft demo of DirectX 11 GPU.

Just goes to show you, no matter what these people tell you on here, the PC and consoles don't really compete much with each other like xbox, playstation, and Nintendo consoles. Here it may be about "System Wars", but at E3 it's all about the "console wars".

MS tried to play both sides for a while but they always put 360 first so obviously it didn't really work out, and now it seems they've pretty much given up on the whole thing. It's propably better this way, it was just silly, how could a company be representing PC gaming when at the same time they might be paying developers to keep games away from that platform. Anyway, there were some Alan Wake, Splinter Cell and Modern Warfare 2 trailers which I think will be on PC too.

I don't think there was no one owns pc. In truth pc is pretty irrelevant when it comes to E3.
