Any X360 games coming out this year that will beat GEOW's graphics?

I looked at every game soo far that i know for xbox360 and i cant find a single game that looks as good or better than geow.

does anyone know what is going on?

is money the issue here? cuz what we know is that Epic got insane money from ms to make the game look best as possible. But what i dont understand is how come Halo3 looks nowhere near as good as Geow, it beats me.

Mass Effect, Bioshock, Too Human, and Halo 3 when its done.

Mass Effect and Bioshock both look better than GOW. Halo 3 is not finished, they have already said the graphics are incomplete and even the upcoming multiplayer beta doesent have the finished graphics (It's a beta dude!). Halo 3 is using a different engine than Gears, it uses a completley different art style, it has more characters on-screen at once, and again the graphics are incomplete. Hell even Gears of War was bashed and called Jaggies of War...we both know how that turned out. So please wait Bungie at least shows us the single player campaign graphics before passing jugement on Halo 3.jack244

mass effect is nowhere near the geow calibur, and did u see the latest bioshock pics for x360? they look ten times worse than the first pics we saw earlier this year.

- he says that the game is quite impressive rite now. it is near GoW graphics, and people will get in shock as soon as Mistwalker start sending ingame shots to the press, really really impressive

Am i the only one that finds it funny and even a little sad when people complain about mass effect and other games not looking as good as gears even though the game is still in development?

you do know that all the "cut-scenes" are rendered real-time in-engine right (like MGS). they are part of the game itself. watch the X06 video in hd. even the devs say that the cut scenes are in game. those are the graphics of the game, though they still are unfinished, hence the fact the game has been held back to september. it still looks great. another game you might be interested in seening or playing is the multiplat "Clive Barker's Jericho". both games use the Unreal Engine just like GeoW.

I wish I had a time machine like GermanShepard's, so that instead of just going to the future to find out how "bad" games that aren't even out yet look, I could've gotten a few copies to bring back and sell on eBay...

Bet I could've cleared a grand for each copy of Halo 3 I'd have snagged.

Developers confirmed that everything you see in the cutscenes is in gameplay, the models, lighting etc., the gameplay and cutscenes will be identical.

Great looking games CAN look crap in images through low resolution, resizing, etc... Don't judge by images. Judge by gameplay videos. And from the video that I showed you, it is clear Mass Effect is better looking than Gears.

wow, im not saying that cutscenes are not realtime, but they dont look nowhere near as good as gameplay screens. You can have real time cutscense but it doesnt mean that gameplay graphics are going to be the same.

Did u notice how Geow's cutscenes look five times better than gameplay graphics? even though both are using real time engines.
