Whats the str and weakness of each?

Microtransactions: Both are fucked because of them. 7 or 9 or 10 ignore the score "review" sites give it and remember mocrotransactions.
Forza 3 being the best "Car"(Not including other types of racing) racing game in general of all time, it's a tough call.
Forza 5 has the soundtrack of amazingness. The feel of driving on the road through your TV. The great polish to make your car show off on all tracks. And so much more.
But the CONTENT is sliced more than half, like 65%. Sure they rake some modes and combine the with others, but still don't have as many options. You will still play it for hours but it is lacking everything you would be expecting to be able to do.
Gran Turismo happens to have a bit more content and has the car types at the start being much better than what they did with GT5. But the game is practically unchanged outside of graphics having a slight improvement and a few extras on your cars.
GT6 has great tracks and has great handling outside of a few broken brands that may be fixed in the future, but you don't feel like you are racing. you feel like you are on a practice track with cars being made to go on one path each ans seeing if you can drive fast enough to go around them all and get in first. The othe cars have basically not life. Some of the tracks are partially recycled and seem to have turns that change depending on the car, I'll have to look into that a bit more to confirm but it has happened a lot.
So in my opinion you should either buy both to cover each other, or do a coin flip. I would give Forza the MP advantage if anything.
I tried Forza MP all I get is quick matches with random cars. Shits horrible.
Go to GT and find rooms with strict rules and no driving aids. Much better
