Anybody agree that the ps3 remote is crap for FPS?

Remote?

The Sony Bluetooth Blu-Ray Remote is terrible for FPS, because it was designed for DVD's and Blu-Ray Movies.

If you are talking about the Sixaxis, that's your opinion, and everyone's got one of those. I have NO PROBLEM whatsoever with it, and although I prefer the 360 for FPS, it's by a very, very small margin.

The Sixaxis is incredibly well made, and enjoy if for most genre's.

EDIT : The DUAL SHOCK 3 is coming out in a few months with NEXT GENERATION RUMBLE and that may tip the scales for me in the FPS category.

First of all, the controller is not a "remote".
Secondly, the analog sticks are smooth and accurate and are well placed and symetrical unlike the 360 which has also smooth analog sticks but a weird offset center.
Thirdly, no console controller is good for FPS. When your 360 gets that RROD again, download a PC demo and try it.

Dualshock 3 has rumble and i play Ut3 on it and-its awesome so is the 360 controller

I beat u havent Even used it yet

they should make the r2 trigger the default for fpson the ps3, also they need to get a concave trigger, it works so well for the 360.

Well I seem to be doing just fine with the SIXAXIS, the 360 controller, and kb/m...

Well at least Sony wised up and brought back rumble.adastos

yea, after they said it was "impossible", any way even with the rumble i don't like the controller, it doesnt fit your hand as well as the 360 controller.

I guess that is why I average about 25 kills per game on COD 4 and 7 kills during TDM with a 40 frag limit on UT3.
