Umm there is no way brawl can get below a 9.5 on any review and from hte way things are looking halo 3 isnt gona be to cool. Though smash bros brawl will be close to perfect just as good as ocaraina of time . There is no games left in 2007 that will come close to crushing Halo 3. But your post sounded like you were wll informed...
No. The 360 is still market leader in every territory except Japan (to no surprise), and so Halo's sales will be unaffected. The Wii needs to overtake the 360 in those other territories (or at least get relatively close) before a game can outsell Halo 3's hype machine. As far as scores go, we're trying to compare two different genres on two completely different systems. It doesn't work that way.
SSBM outsold Halo:CE with a similar sized userbase. By the end of the generation (while Brawl is still selling strong just like Melee) the Wii will have a significantly larger userbase than the 360. Brawl will easily be one of the best selling games of this generation. Halo 3 will sell strong within the first few months but will die down as sson as the hype falls off the charts.

Yeah because nobody knew that Halo would be so good. halo 2 sold over 2 million more than Melee,and now Halo 3 has 1 million pre-orders, where that is more the Brawl. So Halo 3 will outsell Brawl.
Melee and Halo 2 sold around the same # of copies.
There was alot less GC's around than Xbox's though
Now that the Wii and Xbox 360 just about equal eachother in numbers, I think Brawl will outsell Halo 3.

It's not that unlikely. Do you know the attach rate of SSBM? It sold like 12 million copies with only 18 million GCN. It had one of the highest attach rates, I think more so than Halo 2. Yea, so I can see it happening.

Halo 3 will most likely outsell SSBB, but don't be surprised if its really close.
If anyone wants to put there money where their mouth is, go over to the System Wars Bets thread and check out my group thread. They're are a lot of people saying that Halo 3 will outsell Brawl. It's going to be much closer then you think.

Besides, it's a no brainer that Halo 3 will outsell everything this fall. I also see Mass Effect and COD4 selling well over a million each this holiday season.
CoD4, Mass Effect and obviously Halo 3 will be outsold by SSBB??
EDIT: Almost forgot Crysis is also gaining lost of AAA hype, and I think it will sell good, will it be outsold by SSBB??

Halo 3 is one of the only games that will almost surely outsell Brawl. If I asked people about any of those other games you mentioned, they wouldn't know what I was talking about. People know about Smash Bros and Halo, but ME, CoD, or Crysis.
