Yeah, I got Kinect for Xmas and have barely played it since, it just does not keep me interested, and everything coming out for it does not appeal to me in the slightest :(
So far, it's boring.. very very boring. I got it as a gift, but its been a waste so far.

kinda, kinect was pretty magical at first... but the lack of games is disheartening.
I still think it has alot of potential, but im beginning to doubt if that potential will ever be reached.
I should say im still impressed by the device itself to this day, the support is the issue.
It seems to be sporting dancing, sports, and racing games and HUGE FLOP fighter game but thats it unless you count Adventures.Tony-Baxter
Well, M$ spent HALF A BILLION DOLLARS (Hello!) advertising Kinect for the casual/Nongamer markets, but obviously they knew some hardcores gamers would buy Kinect ($150 retail at massive profit) as well as those mass targetted with JustinBieber/Ellen/Oprah.
With that foundation built, Kinect seemingly did it's part this generation, it sold last Xmas well, it made tons of profits for Xbox Brand...and it doesn't seem to have much momentum worth noting at this point. Like I said Last Year and the Year before launch of Kinect (and Move for that matter), we'll really know all we need to know one year from launch of these products.
The key difference is that Move didn't have the marketing budget, nor did Sony put all their Exclusive Game Eggs in that gaming basket, so the PS3 isn't as reliant on the success of Move as Xbox is on Kinect.
Back on subject of Kinect in this Kinect thread, right now, Kinect seems to be going the way of the Virtual Boy gamewise, but at least Kinect has more money thrown behind it than the Virtual Boy ever did, which means it will be out as long as M$ wills it.
So, to answer your question, yes, I'm tired of Kinect, but that's only because of the crappy games released for it, as well as the lack of great quality exclusive software. So, it's not that I don't want to like it, it's that as a gamer I don't like it. My nephews and nieces only played it at Xmas, and they moved on to other games as well from Smash Bros. to Sly Cooper To New Super Mario Bros...
In the end, GREAT GAMES will win Gamers hearts, not half baked, mid-beta testing concepts. So, it's really up to these peripherals like Kinect to step their "Game up" if they want to have any impact in gaming history at all. Right now though gaming wise, Kinect is off to a poor half year + start.
You can't be tired of something that you had absolutely no interest in to begin with.
However, the Xbox fanboys must be pretty excited; they got a year full of shovelware party games instead of core exclusives. It's exactly what they wanted.
[QUOTE="paradigm68"]Kinects are cool when not plugged into a Xbox.Tony-BaxterHow else would it work? wow, you obviously haven't seen the countless Kinect mods for the PC or Mac. Even Microsoft knows they are so incredible that they are releasing an official way to plug it into a computer, which might make people like me actually buy one.
My friends were into the whole thing when it was announced/released but it was mainly because of Dance Central.:P Nowdays, mehh it still sells.:P It'll probably get a boost once another big titles out.:)
