guess your right it really shows how stupid ppl have gotten and how easily there buy into a gimmick this is sad .
The original NES was said to be doomed to be a failure because the control used arrows and the controler was called a gimmick. Nintendo had to release it with ROB the robot and called it a entertainment system and not a video game system due to the fact that video game systems were called gimmicks by so called experts. One person's gimmick is another person's movement. Rumble, touch control for the DS, Wiimote and more were called gimmicks. So why would being a gimmick be stupid? It called be smart and thinking out side of the box.

Trying to change from calling Wiifit a gimmick because you lost that battle. To now just attacking the Wii altogether....Kinda sad and lame but if it makes you happy

Could you play a point and click like Zack and Wikki with a normal controller..... Yes it was done in the past and failed. The Wiimote is the best way to play a point and click on a console system.
Can you play MP3 on with a normal controller? Yes but here what IGN had to say about it playing with a Wiimote
It plays better than any first-person console game ever... really. And it's one of Wii's best lookers, too.

Could you play Wiisports with a normal controller? Yes......Would it be has fun I would say heck no but that my opinion.
