Anyone acutally think Gta 4 dlc/ The Agent will stay exclusive?

it seems every time rockstar puts something exclusive out, it eventually goes multi-plat.examples:gta3, vc, sa. everyone originallythought gta 4 would at least be an exclusive at first.and then go goes multi-plat at launch. chinatown wars was a ds exclusive. and now theyre porting it to the psp. so does anyone think that the gta 4 dlc will stay exclusive to the 360 especially since that recent rockstar north interview. with them telling the playstation fans to be "patient". sorry i dont wanna find the link.and im pretty sure someone just posted it. but it just doesnt seem to be in there nature to stay on one platform. so will Agent be any different. thoughts?

i personally think both will eventually. R* tack record shows time and time again that they usually release on more than one.

Yeah I see both staying exclusive. I would just to take this time and say thanks to MS, with their 50 million payed towards the DLC Rockstar were able to fund this towards the PS3 Agent Project :D

The GTA4 DLC is not going to PS3 period. MS let Rockstar borrow money during the development of GTA4 and the DLC is their way of paying them back. As for The Agency, it may or may not remain exclusive. For now it's exclusive, but there is no reason right now that they can't make it multiplat down the line.

Isn't sony helping fund Agent? If that's the case no to that one.

In that case I see a Blu-ray GTA4 DLC Pack on PS3 before the end of next year. Agent on the other hand will stay exclusive, after-all Rockstar have stated that they want to make a game to take advantage of the PS3 system and blu-ray.

Well there is a contract in place between Sony and Rockstar that ensures The Agent remains exclusive, so unless the contract outlines only a certain ammount of time the game has to remain exclusive it will not go multiplat.

It seems that way but the future of the franchise looks multiplat.

They said that Agent is being designed specifically for the PS3. It's supposed to take advantage of all of its qualities. Making it multiplat would seem to defeat the purpose of that, but I suppose it could happen.

The episodes....I dunno. They probably will, but at least not until they're done with all the stories they're planning to release. In which case, if they do go multiplat, they just might release a Blu-ray with a collection of them, which would be pretty nice.

agent is being funded by sony and its a signed contract for letting microsoft have the dlc, for exchange of having a game exclusive

Mass effect and Oblivion were exclusive, news to me I though it came out on 360 same day as PC version. Gears was a timed exclusive, but I wouldn't be suprised if microsoft wanted epic to make a PC vesrsion, they were pushing GFW hard at the time. My PS3 paragraph proves that Sony has a record for announcing exclusives that are not exclusives. Thus showing a very big likelyhood that Agent might not be exclusive. deangallop

There were exclusives. They just stopped being exclusives. As has been the case with Microsoft. Except Sony has a better track record at keeping exclusives due to their investment in first party resources.

However, this issue has more to do with Rockstar's integrity than Microsoft/Sony's track record. Quite frankly, I trust Rockstar's word more than I trust a company like Capcom's.

Also, Mass Effect didn't come out on PC until months later. The ****storm that proceeded on these forums was hilarious when it went multiplat. I can't rightly remember Oblivion's circumstances upon recollection.

I don't think the episodes from Liberty was a timed exclusive at the price of 50 million $, but agent is still very early in development, as a matter of fact, we haven't even seen as much as a single gameplay footage to judge it

Meh, I don't think it was ever confirmed that the 50 mil was a loan. Wasn't the whole "paying back" thing just assumed?

MS funded the 2 GTA4 DLCs, so is exclusive.

Sony funded Agent, so is exclusive.

A 3rd expansion to Gta4 could go multiplatform tho, if Rockstar choose to make because the contract with MS was for only 2.

Agent won't go multiplat never, Rockstar maxed DVD-9 and wants to do a bigger game.

And GTa5 wont be released on 2010. Will be a multiplat of 2011.

People keep getting confused between Agent, and The Agency. they are 2 seperate games people.

I don't think it could be said any simpler; microsoft has exclusive rights to TLAD and TBOGT... They actually gave money over which was used to fund the DLC. Maybe a pig will fly one day but I still wont place money on it happening.
