Anyone besides me think uncharted grafix arent that special?

I just finished it, and don't get me wrong, the game is beautiful, but i just honestly dont see how people think it looks better than:

Gears, MGS4, Ratchet & Clank, Bioshock, NG2, I could probably name a few more i thought looked better if i thought about it.

Am i completly alone here?

at the time it was the best*. Nowadays it's pretty but not the graphics king

the graphics are fine (read: setting is beautifull) and the environment textures are top notch

But the game is getting too much praise for graphics alone imo

WOW!

Uncharted looks insane on MY sony bravia 1080p 46inch HDTV, expecially the skiboat levels and the ship wreck. I also think it looks better than the first gears, as it should. While gears looked great texture-wise, character models didn't. to each there own.

So you prefer the auto-aim lock on tomb raider gameplay over uncharted's?

Uncharted's is much more intense and fun, cover, shooting...everything works well and much more realistically.
