Nahh i played the Bayonetta demo and that actually turned me off, something bothered me about a female Devil May Cry type girl firing guns from her high heels, it just didn't interest me, nor' did the campy twirling hair or graphical backrounds. However i saw it did good in the ratings so it's obviously appealing to some people.I'm not to excited about it any more actually, I think Bayonetta spoiled me. I'll still give a go though.

Nope, just Beyonetta. GOW3 will be like DI, except bigger dudes.Bayonetta and GoWIII are going to be the better hack n slashes from the looks of it so far

No way. Bayonetta is like DMC, expect with breasts.
See, I can do that too.
after playing the demo now, nope, i'll pass, can't control the camera and the first boss is annoying as hell, it doesn't help they put the dodge button on where the camera control would normally be, so i can't pan around if i'm behind an enemy, and the dodgeing is kinda slow.
edit: diddn't intend to quote anyone
I am quite excited for it. I've always wanted a game taking place in Hell how DA described it, and I like how shamelessly it rips off GoW's gameplay.

Which means Bayonetta is still good then. You should play a God of War game. DI basically copy pasted God of War down to the controls, but the GoW camera is so amazing that it never gets in your way whilst playing. It always pans and zooms at just the right time to give you a view of everything important, while keeping the action looking tight. If you don't have a PS3 (or PS2) DI might be fun, but if you have a PS2/PS3, its down right criminal to play the imitation without playing the original :Pafter playing the demo now, nope, i'll pass, can't control the camera and the first boss is annoying as hell, it doesn't help they put the dodge button on where the camera control would normally be, so i can't pan around if i'm behind an enemy, and the dodgeing is kinda slow.

Its the combat system and great boss battles that made the game so great, as long as Dante's Inferno has that I'll be picking it up.I'm not to excited about it any more actually, I think Bayonetta spoiled me. I've never played GoW but if it has similar controls i'll stick with bayonnete and DMC, i really enjoyed darksiders which i just got too. Well, understandable. But if you happen to run into someone with a PS2 and the game (or you decide to buy a PS2 - $100 for a terrific gaming system) then get GoW. The controls are the same as DI, but the game is done with so much better craft that the controls end up making sense. Think of it this way, if DMC and Bayonetta could read your mind and put the camera just as you wanted, would you need the right analog stick to control the camera? That's what God of War is like. The camera is so well done that if they gave you the right analog stick for camera control, it would be completely wasted. You would probably touch it twice the entire game. The demo was absolutely perfect. It's one of the few that don't cut off too short.
It's also awesome beyond limits. :P It definitely takes the GoW formula and improves it. With the demo there is actually quite a bit of techniques and combos that you can learn, far exceeding GoW. Don't even know if there's going to be sub-weapons either.

Author with a wool jacket... no, not really. That Jacket is the best, most bad ass character of this generation easily. ;)
[QUOTE="AAllxxjjnn"]Gorgeous graphics? They're actually pretty ugly. Looks alright for a rent or something.II_Seraphim_III agree. They are some of the worst graphics a big budget game has had this gen.
....Wut? Have you even played the demo? The environments in the cutscenes are pretty damn close to photorealism. The in-game graphics are still good as well. I've seen far worse.

Most games look good in cutscenes , i think they were talking about In-game graphics which do suck btw the environment is almost textureless in in-game , go play God of war 2 (collection) in HD and see which game looks better , if DI wasn't in HD i'd say its a ps2 game , anyways I'm still getting the game , i don't care about the graphics i just need my fix of hack and slash 'till god of war 3 comes out .God of War 3, Castlevania Lord of Shadow, and Dante's Inferno. all look amazing to me.SaudiFuryI think out of all the action games coming out this year (excluding Darksiders), Castlevania is by far the one I would be most likely to buy if it was good. The style of it is legitimately appealing to me, as opposed to GoW and DI which only interest me because they're both sensationally morbid and gross.

Afraid of hell? Kratos has a vacation house in Hell, by the river Styx. Rather nice property if I may say :PThe demo was absolutely perfect. It's one of the few that don't cut off too short.

did you just say DI took GOW formula and improved it? :|
then what are the guys at Santa Monica studios doing with GOW3? Pointing it with a stick?
if anything, the devs of GOW3 are the ones that are improving the formula.

DI does not improve the GoW formula, it actually copy pastes code for code, the GoW engine. I mean they even have the same exact control setup. DI is the video game world's first instance of plagiarism.[QUOTE="MadVybz"]

We haven't seen GoW 3 yet, have we?
From we've seen so far, DI definitely does improve of what GoW has done so far.
