I got mine... but I probably won't play right away lol. I was just happy to get it again. Such an underrated classic. For $20, they can have my money!

I had to look it up and didn't understand what I was looking at exactly other than thinking it would make for some nice paintings on a wall.
Somewhat tempted, tho I'm trying not to spend a lot due to other stuff I need to use money for. Also hello I am new here.
I got it last night but before going to bed, only had a few minutes to tinker around and started nodding off somewhere in that extended intro that still hasn't gotten anywhere closer to anything resembling gameplay. Shit, and I thought Kojima cutscenes were awful.
Tempted. Already have the Wii version (go ahead and laugh, it's hardly as "broken" as Kamiya says, the brush mechanics are just a bit annoying. That's it)
No, I don't think I want to play this one again.
Still...I'd probably buy a Switch version, since portability might help this game feel like less of a slog.
I'm getting it for pc.
Would love to hear some impression on how the remaster is.
Basically the exact same game at 1080p+, with surprisingly excellent M/K controls.
Aside from shitty-no-curser menu, arguably better than a control pad.
If you never played it you should definitely play it. And if you like it you should definitely check out Zelda games if you haven't.
To me it was a very flavorful Zelda game minus variation. It was really good though. Especially with the wiimote where you could paint with motion controls. I personally remember the game too well to play through it again, and it's a long game, maybe too long.
@nintendoboy16: thats my favourite version of the game. originally i had the PS2 version but then i heard the wii version was coming out. So i stopped playing and swapped them.
initially i had trouble with the drawing. i even nearly died in okami :S. but after a few hours drawing was just so much faster and nicer than using a PS2 controller in my experience.
as for the PC version. im only going to get it if there is a linux build. I already have it for the wii so im not likely to double dip. brilliant game though. i certainly recommend it.
I'll get it in the Winter Sale, I think. Not expecting a discount, but would be nice for a few trading cards.

Getting a game for trading cards?? I don't even know what they're used for.. Steam does a shit job at explaining its' things.
Is trading cards something more than digital pictures called "cards" in order to fool people into wanting them?

You can sell them for a little cash, or craft them into badges to level up your profile and get a few extra goodies like discount coupons and profile backgrounds that double as pretty decent wallpapers.

You sell trading cards
So you can buy new games
Anyway, that's the gist of it, and the way I use trading cards.
Sometimes you can sell trading cards for 1-8 euro (depending on how rare they are and how new the game is)
If I have a new game I always sell ALL my trading cards. For example from playing COD WWII I earned about 8 euros, just from selling my trading cards.

A bit more info:
You can use trading cards to craft badges on steam, if you have the full set:
Badges give you: higher steam level, a profile background and a emoji thing.

I see. I've checked out the cards I have and all of them go for like 0.02 Euros. Me even bothering with that shit is not gonna happen. My most valuable card goes for 0.1 Euro. lol
Guess you gotta play popular games in order to get cards people want..

Honestly when the card system was out, every single game had popular cards, and the more popular they were, the more people paid.
but of course the market had saturated a bit, some 'free' games cards can go for really low right now.
but I dunno, when I need some spare cash, I go through my steam inventory and sell stuff that can give me some fast money.
No kidding, from selling trading cards and stuff from my Steam inventory alone I've probably got upwards of 30 euro or more this year.

That's crazy. I basically never get cards (I don't bother with gems) and when I do, they aren't worth shit and I'd need about 5000 more cards than I have to get an amount that's worth a damn. But cool that you can do that. I play very little popular games myself. I can imagine Call of Duty cards being popular, but that series don't appeal to me at all. PUBG? Nah. Counter Strike? Nah. Dota 2? Hell nah! So I'm pretty screwed on the card trading thing. :P

Thanks for the heads up, so it's not an amazing port, but solid overall ?
Yes.
I was debating it since I'm looking for a game to play at the moment. The style of the game is what has me on the fence though; not a big fan of it.
