They really made the characters come alive. They don't move like plastic dolls like so many other games. They move smooth like real people. The E3 walk through really opened my eyes. Great stuff.
Considering the fact that almost all lemmings are saying that Killzone 2 dosen't impress them even tho it's the best looking console game to date in ALL aspect except textures...I'ma have to go with no. I ain't that impressed.
I thought it was good, but it doesn't impress me. I mean, I looked at Gears of War and says it looked good. I guess my "good", is fantastic. But COD4 is not fantastic, IMO.

You mean err animation and umm dark lighting? Or gameplay? I thought Uncharted has the best animation...oh i'm so confused, everytime Sony announces a new game it is 'the best everything ever seen on a console' yet they never really seem to get better....

that doesnt even make freakin sense, but i am gonna say the dev said KZ2 was in pre alpha, and texturing usually comes last cus its easier than models, and animations and all that. so it has much time to improve and it is already pretty good.
Call of Duty 4 is the best-looking console game I've ever seen, and it will only look better on a high-end PC. I have a 360, but I might have to definitely upgrade my PC now. I was considering it for Crysis, but Bioshock and CoD4 in DX10 would probably be orgasmic as well, not to mention other games. Like Gears of War at 60 fps with an actual keyboard and mouse.
