Hey junior....that's the controller to the Wii U. It is not the Wii U. So no the Wii U does NOT look like a leap frog.

That controller is super lame, if they don't just release a normal wireless controller for the core guys I'm not even going to consider buying it.BigBoss255I really dont see the point of the controller. Are you going to be playing half of the game looking and doing stuff on the controller? Why? Playing an FPS......... I want to see wat they do for that. Only RTS games would be perfect for the WiiU.

The way FPS will work is you will point the screen at the TV and use the screen as your scope.

If you watch the intro video shown at E3 they showed a fps style game where the controller was used as the scope. Therfore, the player had the controller attached to a zapper (or at least it looked like a zapper) and when the controller was lifted up you could zoom in on the screen to snipe without changing what was on the tv.
But couldn't they also just use the Wii remote and nunchuck for a shooter if they wanted, since its compatable and has already been said it will continue to be used in games

It's not intended for FPS/RTS it's designed for more casual junk and gimmicks like the e3 montage showed. People keep saying that Nintendo have returned to the core with this console bit you can clearly see it's built for the casual gamer.

Clearly you are ignoring all the information that has come out about the system, or everythign people in the industry are saying

Well, I have a wii, a ds, I've looked at the "top 3ds games" and based on nintendo's past, I don't see them catering to a less casual audience much.
Of course, when making announcements, they cannot target the casual crowd which does not follow the e3 news obviously; so I don't doubt they would steer their communication toward the e3 listening crowd (game news sites / publications / less than casual gamers).
I may be wrong though, call it a loss of faith.

For every part of the game that the tablet controller won't fit for, there is a WII remote to use.

what a weak response. At least put some effort into it... you just make it seem like you're unable to process what I'm saying, and can't figure out the point.

And ... well, I'm not gonna buy it anyway.
I'm sure they will... and you'll have to buy BOTH of them. Please Log In to post.
