Ill play the single player on PC, but MP will be on my 360 with my friends. I will however play MP on PC sometimes aswell, im doing the same thing right now with Bad Company 2. So im getting both versions PC & 360.
First, pc gamers tend to be more hardcore and have crazy mouses with precision aiming, my cheap Logitech cannot compete.deadlyabdus123
Wth are you talking about? How does mouse make a difference. It seams to me you're not good at shooters in PC since they require a bit more accuracy and reflexes and you're just blaming your mouse.
It disgusts me to say this but even though I have a pretty decent 480gtx setup,Yeah, compulsory "I have a gaming PC" before stating anything anti-PC.
I will be forced to get the ps3 version because I cannot trust the MP experience on PC. First, pc gamers tend to be more hardcore and have crazy mouses with precision aiming, my cheap Logitech cannot compete. I want a wide variety of people to play with, not just hardcore ones. PS3 owners are more likely to have the same control although other controllers do exist for it.
You don't need expensive high-end gaming mouses or keyboards, I top score a lot and I just use cheap Dell and Phillips mouses and keyboards. And there are a mixture of good people and bad people on PC just look at public games and competitive games.
2nd, i dont trust that it will sell the most, meaning a couple years down the line, lobbys wont be as full. I did the same for CODand any other MP centric multiplat game.
The thing is, would anyone still be playing any multiplatform PS3 game online when the PS4 or PS5 arrives?
In fact, i hope to god many of my fav titles dont come with MP or come with crappy MP so i dont have to purchase it for my ps3 and can get much better visuals on my PC. Looking at the visuals on BF3 on fallon for ps3 made me sick, I spat at the TV. I was expecting a new god but even crysis 2 looks better on consoles. That being said, I will somehow find a way to play the single player on PC so I can enjoy some sort of DX11 glory.
Well of course, you do know that Battlefield 3 is being developed for PCs first and consoles second?

I didnt start FPS on consoles till COD4, all other MP experiences, FEAR, battlefield 2, etc, i used mouses. I been a PC gamer for years till i got a ps3. High-end mouses and keyboards mean nothing, I stomp loads of people with gaming equipment with very basic Dell and Phillips mouse and keyboards.

Playing an FPS with some crappy microsoft or budget mouse compared to a nice, high DPI laser mouse is a totally different experiance. The Logitech MX518 is $40 and it completely changed my gaming experiance.
Im pro-pc dude, it disgusts me that ill be forced to get the PS3 version, and ur logic doesent sway me. Im glad DICE is taking PC route first, and as for play logs, ps4 would take at least a year or two and a price drop before people really buy them. 'Gaming mice' may make some actions smoother, but that doesn't mean you can't dominate with an ordinary mouse. I use to use a Basic MS optical mouse for COD4, AND play on 250 ping servers (not sure why), if I set out to win, I did.So long as you're using a relatively decent high DPi mouse, then you should be fine. If you need to, just adjust the mouse sensitivity. So long as you are using an optical/laser mouse, I doubt the difference will be anything substantial when translated into gameplay.

Eh, experiences differ you know... Personally I find ass kicking much easier to do in CSS than BO (PS3).
If I had a decent enough PC I would get BF3 for it... Bigger maps, more players and DAT GRAPHICS heavily outweighs the disadvantages of the PC. Alas I'll have to scrape by on my PS3 :P

I really doubt my console friends get this game, and if they do it'll be because I talked them into it. Probably should get a better mouse, now that I think about it. I dived deep into the recesses of my closet to find the old clunker I'm using now.

It's all on your practice, I was better at shooters back in the late 90's early '00 on a ball mouse than I am now on these fancy new 5700dpi, 1ms poll, laser mice. If you don't play enough on the control device, you're not going to be good, I played 8 hours a day back in the Q3A days, I play hardly any shooters anymore.[QUOTE="deadlyabdus123"][QUOTE="edidili"]go up and look at the MOD'S reply to my thread, DPI matters dude. DPI matters to a certain degree. 1800 is slightly too slow for me at 1920*1080 while 3600 is way too fast. Another thing of importance is polling. most modern gaming mice support 1000 hz polling which means they have a 1ms delay, the usb port on the other hand is natively 125 hz which equals 8 ms, some mice however (at least Razer Deathadder and Logitech G9X) has increase the polling through their software.
Not I'm sure you'll ever notice the difference between 1 and 8 ms, especially considering how far ahead it is of wireless controllers.

thats one of the worse excuses ive read to date here on system wars. i'll never buy a game on a console that i can buy on my pc. i fair very well in pc Mp games. maybe you're just not good at such games and you're blaming it on others abilities and not just their equipment.
I'm not sure if my machine counts as high-end or not. I currently have an i5 760, 2xGTX 460, and 8GB of RAM - it's decent-ish, but not high-end like a tri-SLI setup or a Sandy Bridge i7. I'm getting the PS3 and PC versions, but likely most of my play time will be on PS3.
I do agree that I don't really trust the MP experience as much on PC. Once you can execute arbitrary code, the idea of security goes out the window. Sadly, I'm not sure I trust the PS3 either anymore in that regard.

What makes his argument entirely stupid, contradictory, nullified nonsense is that he is aware of peripherals such as the FragFX for the PS3. Well he just wants to use a kb/m when everybody else is using a controller. He can't do that in the PC version.

I pwn people online with my cheap $20 kb/m bundle.Gaming mice have extra dpi which may or may not boost gaming skill. It all depends on preference.

You want variety, and yet you will play on PS3,where everyone will have the same stuff.PC obviously has more variety so I dunno what you are saying.

False.PC MP games usually last longer than console games. Many PC gamers still play BF2.Console games are abandoned whenever the next big title arrives.
I was expecting a new god but even crysis 2 looks better on consoles.

I own a Logitech MX 518 and even though the mouse is much easier on the hand than my previous basic Microsoft mouse, my performance hasn't changed. The mouse only makes a key difference when it comes to using the extra mouse buttons for any commands u dont wanna use the keyboard for. Aside from that... I was a beast in BF2 and CoD4 with the basic mouse so saying there's a difference is a matter of opinion. Please Log In to post.
