Anyone getting Black Ops 3 for Xbox One?

Almost all of the people on my friends list that I usually play CoD with have informed me they are not getting it (at least 3/4 of the people who got Ghosts). Reasons are varied, from "not into CoD anymore", "Getting it for my PS4", to being mad over that whole "PS4 is the new home to CoD" comment.

Regardless of the reason, I only have a handful of my XBL friends who are getting it for XB1. How many of you XB1 owners are going to pick it up?

I'm torn between which to get it for. I'm sort of favoring for xone because of the windows10 streaming.

@polishkid99: I don't have a PS4. So, if I want to play it, I will have to get it for my Xbox. But, I mainly play CoD with the people on my friends list. So, I am debating whether or not I even want to pick it up.

Nope. Not me. Hell I couldn't bring myself to finish Black Ops 2 and I have no desire to do so. Advanced Warfare was good for it's single player but I got bored with MP and it's going to be a very very long time for Activision to get me care for COD. Getting Advanced Warfare wasn't my idea, it came with COD Xbox One 1-TB last November but at least it was a holiday sale so I was cool with that. That said, I'll stick to Destiny, I rather play that then COD any day of the week.

Edit: I'm buying Halo 5 and not Black Ops 3. Halo is way more fun then Call of Scrap.

Nah....but I liked the beta ( PS4 ).....so I will get the PC version down the road.

Well let's be real here. There's a lot of stuff coming out that makes another CoD look...weak. Especially for the X1. While I would get it somewhere down the line for zombies, they haven't bothered to really show it off. I have little reason to pay $60 for one mode.

No 4 player local no buy. Zombie killing hangouts were the only thing I bought it for to begin with.

Not sure if I'm getting it, but if I do I'll definitely pick it up on Xbox One. I prefer to do my online gaming there.

I don't understand why all the hate from ppl about call of duty. It's been a very consistent series to pick up and play.

It's a great 60fps experience. Feels like an arcade machine at home. I'll always support the franchise.

I love advanced warfare but not as much as blops 2

So many good games. This on is on the bottom of my list.

I'm not getting it period, after the awful MW3 and Blops I pretty much said I'm done with the series, haven't felt bad about it, from what I've seen of Ghost and Advanced Warfare I'm not missing anything. I might play them one day for the SP if they ever see a substantial discount, but I'm in no rush.

Plus, those that made COD great are working at EA with Titanfall. So I'm more looking forward to more of that. And I've long liked the BF games more for the MP anyways. Safe to say I probably won't play it, and if I do, not for a long while.

Nope totally burned out on the series, plus I've never been a fan of the treyarch ones.

@StormyJoe: I don't buy COD and I haven't in a long time, but if I were, I wouldn't buy it on Xbone. My Xbone is for exclusives.

No because they aren't very good games and I'll have a much better FPS to play this year (halo 5)

I never buy CoD new since the single player is always so very short. Halo 5 will be my console multiplayer game so I do not need CoD for that. So $60 for a CoD SP length is not worth it.

I wonder why all of a sudden lens don't care for Xbone anymore (not directed at you OP). I think it's just butthurt that COD has switched platforms now to PS4. Don't pay attention to your friends they'll buy it, once the marketing blitz starts they won't be able to resist. It's the same shit every year, people say they won't buy COD and they end up buying it due to hype mania.

I am, already did the digital pre-order in a moment of weakness.....I think it was right after a great match of AW Zombies lol.

I'll mostly play campaign though, and a little of Zombies if that comes to the game. I think the mp should be fun but I won't have time to play it much as I have other games I prefer playing online and I expect to spend most of my time with Halo 5.

Demand for the game seems strong on Xbox One though, it's currently the #1 item on the Amazon top 100, maybe because the beta recently went live, I don't know,....but regardless you should be able to find new people to play with easily. One thing I noticed about playing COD online is there are a lot of competitive players and many use their mics, I usually make friends rather easily in AW just by playing a few hours.

CoD in general has been more pleasing online than other games. Treyarch does an exceptional job with the series. Too many morons don't even realize the franchise is being made by three different developers. And the CoD franchise has now entered a 3-year development cycle rather than just two. The games are good. You kids can say your memes all you want, if it makes you feel better... since most of you aren't even gamer enough to even play games and form your own opinions, what else do ya really got?

The only COD games I've ever gotten are the Black Ops ones, I will likely get this one too (I only have Xbone). Zombies mode is so much fun.

I don't plan on it but if it's my only option in a pick 2 get one free deal over black friday/holiday deals I might. Just some better gaming experiences with other games being released like Halo 5, Tomb Raider and The Division Beta. Finally the wild card with BC being released, might have some gems to go back to or games missed out on to revisit.

I'll probably get the goty edition. Halo 5 is gonna soak up most of my shooter time though.

I'll get BO3 for PC after I buy BO2 when it's not full price on Steam years after release.

Then....I guess I'll wait 5 years for BO3 to go on sale....and then buy and play it.....on PC.

I'm not sure yet if I'm going to get it. I'm leaning towards no because I don't like that it is another futuristic Call of Duty game; I'm tired of futuristic shooters and wish they would have made it in the present or past instead. It's time for the series to go back to World War 2 in my opinion.

If I do decide to get it, I will definitely get the Xbox One version over the PS4 version though because the Xbox controller is better for shooters and I prefer to play online games on Xbox Live over PSN.

It's too bad that there was a thread that outed this board. The "Do you have PS+ or Xbox Live" thread where most people voted "neither" would lead us to believe most people here aren't capable of playing shooters online. Is that the reason you guys are too "cool" for them?

Ps4 has the one month dlc deal and?Who cares?It's only a month.Xbox has a better online service and a better controller(also it has elite controller) so yes If I am gonna buy cod,I will buy it for xbox.

I am going with PS4 mainly cause it is the console I own. Maybe PC if I decide to upgrade it so I can use mouse and keyboard controls.
