Anyone like me only own 1 system each gen??

I've owned a PS1, GC, and now PS3, i dont like to own multiple consoles bcuz i think its a waste of money 1 system is or should be good enough to entertain me and as backup i have a PC:D anyone else here have the simular mind as I?

last gen i eventually got all of them.

this gen i have a 360 and a Wii. not too interested in a ps3

It's usually not worth it for me to buy more than one, I don't have the time. I wouldn't even post here if I wasn't always doing school work or playing guitar. I might get a second system this gen, I'm not sure yet.

Edit: I have both a SNES and a Genesis though. :P

I've been a multi-console owner since the early 1980s.

Now, with Generation 7. I just feel the same way as you. Because of my limited time and getting older, I just don't have time to play all systems. I've been gaming on my Xbox1 alot and my preferred console is the Xbox platform. Therefore the 360 will be my prime console as soon as I get one. I have a GBA Sp and DS, but I only play them once in awhile. And I still play older games on my PC, I just need a serious upgrade though.

Yeah, depending on time and freedom, 1 console is simply more than enough.

You went a whole gen with just a Gamecube? Ouch..

This gen I don't have any consoles yet but last gen I had all.. unless you count the dreamcaster.

last gen i got dream cast till it died then i got my ps2 now im attending to buy xbox360 then after some interesting games comes out for the ps3 i will get it.

i only get mulitple consoles when theres really a games i care about

well since i already dropped $599 , its safe to say i will only be owning one this gen..

but my brothers get other systems.. so you can say i have em all in the household.

Sony has an off chance to grab me too... those girls (or are they boys?) in Final Fantasy are just too pretty - the rendering work is phenomenal...

But in seriousness, if another Twisted Metal comes out, I will be touting $666 to the store for it and a PS3... I have to blow $%#@ up for my wish, that Calypso will not trick me again!

I'm not. I own all the consoles except for the ps3 currently.

I don't think i could stand only one console. Mainly because there are soo many good games that only come out on 1 particular console and not the others that i want to play.

When I have the money (and when theystart usingthe smaller more efficient chip) I'll probable go for the 360.

It's not that I don't like the other consoles/games for them, it's because I have bills to pay.

Nope. I had a PS and a N64. Then I had a PS2 and Xbox. Now I have a 360 and a Wii.....wow I just realized something.

I've really been mixing it up..... cool.

I have pretty much only owned one per gen. Buying more then one console is too time consuming and expensive. I have owned NES, SNES, N64 (which i sold for a PS1), and a PS2. This gen im leaning towards a PS3 but as of now $600 is too much. I can pay my mortgage with that much money.Carmilla31
