Yet they also portrayed a black person as the upper management in charge of the Sarif Industries plant. Not everything is about race, and people would do well to stop being so insulted all the time. When it warrants it, then complain. If we're just gonna whine about character portrayal, then it's just ridiculous.

You know that there are people who do act like stereotypes? I find it offensive when people act like all people from a group fit into a stereotype. But simply having a character who fits a stereotype is fine.

You do realize that what you say makes you sound like racism is all you think about, if you hadn't made this thread racism was the last thing i'd think when seeing her, it's a game based on a wide gap between corporations and the people where if you aren't rich you're extremely poor.

Also stereotypes are based on real people from real events, if you want to pretend they don't exist then i'm far more offended by that than anything in the game.

It would be racist if every black person in the game acted like that, but they don't. In fact I think when it comes to diversity Deus Ex is a good example of not following any stereotypes. There are successful black people, there are poor ones. Same with whites and asians and etc etc.

Exactly... I agree with TC that 'Tish's character has some 'qualitites' that some people could be offended by... when I first encountered her in-game I thought the very same thing... and I'm a white guy...
