Anyone Quadra Dipping on Grand Theft Auto 5 for PS5?

1. I bought it on 360 way back in the day

2. Then I bought for PS4

3. I got it on PC

4. PS5 version might have some new stuff to it I might wanna check it out. I mean there's not a ton of big hitters on the system and I dunno the new grand theft auto 6 will come out I might wanna drive around a city and do stuff like that on ps5.

What do you guys think? X-series x has nothing so I mean this is like only game they have at launch so I dunno what there doing.

I only purchased the game once myself, got it for the Xbox One. I really enjoyed it. I might get it again though if they brought out a version for the Xbox Series X.

Ray-tracing my ass. They said PC will get everything free that's an upgrade that the plastic boxes have to pay for. It'll still be free to play and look best on PC so no.

@ProtossRushX: Nope. I was tempted to get the 360 version but the rumours were strong of a next gen version at the time and I managed to hold off until then.

GTA Online is lame and filled with hackers.

Well I mean your xb1 version might run on the x-series but I mean there's not a lot of x-series titles so maybe are you willing to throw 60 at GTA 5 for x-series or just play your xb1 version for free on it?

@ProtossRushX: Well that’s why I said that I “might” buy an XSX version. It all depends on what they put into it. I mean if they provide a free update for the Xbox One version well that would of course be awesome and something I’d use. It all depends though on what they offer and for how much. Then again I might just wait until GTAVI too. 🤷‍♂️

Lol hell no, bought it for PS3 and pc, that’s more than enough!

Played GTAV on PS3 the first time because I didn't feel like waiting for the PC version at the time and later on, buy it again on PC and never look back on PS3 version existence. No plans to purchase PS5 at this time and I sure as hell won't buy it on a console that's for sure when PC gets the real good stuff.

I also bought on 360, PS4 then PC. I’m making it my goal for the rest of 2020 to finish that damn game.

How did we go 7 years without a new GTA? We got 3 in a gen, then 2, now none... Must be nice to make all that money updating your old game while releasing 1 new cowboy game.

The game will probably get better lighting,more npcs, better physics , better draw distances , and cleaner look because these consoles are going to run it at 4K.

I purchased this game zero times.

Got it on PS3 as a gift, didn't buy this gen, probably won't buy it next gen unless it offers something new.

I only have the PC version it's easily one of my favorite games of all time I replayed the hell out of the singleplayer.. but Rockstar would have to do something really special to make me double dip for next gen. Like maybe expand the map and add a whole new side story like the episodes from liberty city.

i bought it twice. it had the 360 chugging out low 2 digit framerates regularly so it didn't feel like i'd played the definitive version and i grabbed it again for the ps4. it was still relatively new as a game plus had all the performance improvements and fp mode. no regrets for double dipping.

triple dipped when epic gave it away for free earlier this year. hadn't played it for yonks and nice to play it with m&k so no regrets there either. still a highly polished sp experience despite the novelty factor of the characters, story and missions long since gone.

won't be picking it up for ps5, assuming i own one when it releases, despite them giving it away for free. no interest in the mp.

r* haven't exactly covered themselves in glory this gen. one new game in one whole gen is poor from a studio of their size and stature. even bethesda managed two, although admittedly rdr2 is in a different universe to f4 and 76. appreciate you need to milk that golden cow, but those udders are red raw and chafing. let your talented teams loose to craft something else

Not getting a ps5 so no, but even if it comes out for Xbox Series X, I’m still passing. I got the jist of it on the 360 and never felt the need to return.

I bought and beat it on PS3. I haven't played it since. I'll play my free week or month or whatever on PS5 and it will be deleted.

pc version will remain superior, mod support nuff said.Modders can always mod in better graphics than console version.

Does the PC version have built in ray tracing and stuff? Mods will never be as good as real developers doing the stuff otherwise why wouldn't modders just make there own game at that point.

No. I bought it on PS3 and PS4. Also, I have barely played it on PS4. If there was a good amount of new single player content I would maybe consider it.

I bought it at launch for PS3, Then at launch for PS4 to experience the better of the two and now the PS5 is getting a version!? IMO this is stretching it to far. If I ever did give in to buy it then it would only be for the story mode and definitely not online. They f'd it up bad buy making a bunch of fantasy bull like flying cars, bikes, and bunch of other dumb stuff. Totally ignored the story for any expansion, so yea I will wait till it's like $5 to $10.
