Love my consoles but im already thinking about what the next gen will be like.

All games in native 1080p?

All games 60 FPS?

All games have optional 3d mode?

Some new form of control?

What do guys expect from next gen?

Well firstly, the next gen consoles have to be cheaper and more reliable. I think 1080p native/60 FPS would be the standard by then too.

Nah, me too. I don't want this gen over too fast but for me, there is just nothing like getting a spanking new system, unpacking it, connecting it all up and trying out the latest high tech, new games & new controller. :D

I do not want this generation to end already. Anyway I hope all games look like Crysis on Very High settings and more. I want Xbox Live to be free. I want PS and Xbox to keep their controllers like they are now. Games to run at 60fps at 1080p. 3D glasses maybe? Those are just some things.

I don't think that all games are going to be 1080p and have 60 fps, that would cost a ton.

I keep wondering about that too, though outside of blu-ray very little content comes out in native 1080p, HD Channel wise and such (at least with my tiny Canadian provider's HD channels, we don't get anything above 720p/1080i). I expect 1080p native resolutions for next-gen but for some game that makes it look odd when its 720p, at least for some 2D games, so I hope they make the games work properly with 720p TVs as well when it comes around.

I don't care about next gen yet,this generation isn't over and i hope it last,the prices of the new consoles will be around $800/1000.

im not ready for next gen consoles, but i wouldnt mind seeing next gen Ds. i wanna see what nintendo will do with it exactly, especially when they have more funding for hardware this time around.
