Anyone ready for the PS4 and Next Xbox is DOOOOM?

So right now, we are going through the PS Vita and Wii U are DOOOM periods. Typically the "DOOOOOM" period lasts about 1 to 2.5 years after a console's launch.

Why is there a DOOOOM period?

Well because fantoys hype a new console to no end but when it comes out, they don't buy it. Well don't buy it in the same numbers they hyped it. And since the fantoys don't buy the console in it's first years, developers release games at a slower pace.

New Console have no games. EQUAL DOOM!!

So have fun fantoys hyping your new machines because this time next year....all of them will be

according to the so called "core gamers".

It's been somewhat known that ID has bene working on Doom 4 for sometime now, actually.

It's alright, we'll get some console doom, then some pc doom, then some talk about smartphones/tablets taking over the console and/or pc markets with no sensible statistical evidence to back their claims.

And Nintendo Fans have gloated about the Wii outselling the PS3 and 360 for years. So Nintendo Fans need to eat crow now the Wii U is sucking. See you Nintendo fans had your turn and now it's ours. :D

You mean it can't run those games maxed out. It can probably run those games with some downgrades.

I think PS4 and Xbox 720 won't be as doomed as long as they have the power for next gen and have great launch games that sell systems.

WiiU is underpowerd, lacking 3rd party support and the 1st party launch games were not all that great. Easy for PS4 and Xbox 720 to do better than what WiiU has done.

you say that, but it kind of is in a wierd way

you got 3d mario, 2d mario, mario tennis, mario kart, mario golf, super smash bros (close enough, has bros in it), mario party. Hell now you just need Mario FPS and Mario RPG (i actually think there is such a thing) and u basically have a library.
