Look at the home page, all I have to say is wow....catlin_czirr
If Sony or Nintendo ponied up the dough for the ad space, they would be on their too. It's just shrewd marketing on Microsoft's part, saying "HEY LOOK AT TEH XBOX" right before their E3 press conference.
I've seen plenty of other ads on this website.
And by the way, CNET (parent company of Gamespot) completely flopped the Zune when compared to other players. No bias on this network.

He was talking about that ad on the front page with that really creepy looking fruitty guy on the left side of the page.

I was just sayin, and you know for a fact that if the home page had a big fat SONY PS3 add people would say something as well. It wouldnt be so bad if E3 wasn't so soon, it kinda makes them look like they are "rooting" for MS.ohhh dont give me that, i've seen more than a few ps3 ads worse than that on the home page of gs, plus its advertisinggggg, its not like they're sayin the 360 is the best, and not gettin paid for itunrealslim09
They are saying however, you will look just as stupid playing a 360 as you will playing a Wii.
I call false advertising on GS......that pic shows green lights on the X360 console......come on we all know 50% of them have red lightsdarthogre
HARDY HAR HAR HAR!!! You so funny! Anyway the TC is out of his Pso3 fanboy mind.
It's called advertisments. It's how most media sites make money. You may not realize this, but sites like GS need to bring in money to pay overhead and salary for their workers. Different game companies and console makers will take out advertisments on sites like this to market their products to potential consumers.
Thus if you see an ad for GTA IV, you shouldn't suddenly go - "GS is a rockstar fanboy site". Use some reason.

Ads pay for all the pics, videos, etc... I don't think getting money from MS ads prevents them from calling a crappy game crappy and agreat game great. If they were sell outs and biast the quality of their reviews would fall and the userbase decrease.
Ads pay for the stuff you get for free, but if they are really anoyeing you, here's a tip:
Firefox + Adblock =

Microsoft is paying them to put that in a space dedicated to ads. That's how GS makes money. Sony and Nintendo can also buy ads on this site if they so chose. What is the issue? The only reason that the home page doesn't have a ps3 ad on it right now, is because sony hasn't paid them to do it. Seriously, read up on how ads work.
I've seen them advertise some crappy games and some really crappy games.......they then go score them below A status. If their opinion was purchased the game should have received a higher score, no?
I don't know what the fuss is all about, the guy looks really goofy so maybe it will hurt sales.
