Anyone with the slightest bit of intelligence can see PS3 is better than 360

Two of my friends that have 360's have had their systems break down in the past month, the latest victim of the RROD happened just 2 days ago.

The funny things is that both of them ragged on me for going out and buying a PS3, now they are complaining how crap the 360 is.

How can a system that has upwards to a 50% failure rate be considered better than the PS3??

Not only that, but the PS3 comes with the complete package, built in Wi-Fi, free online and a blu-ray player while 360 has none of those things....and breaks down to boot!

People say well, the 360 has more exclusives or more game selection, but none of those games are worthy enough to merit buying a 360 when it fails so bad at being a good reliable system.

PS3 wins in my opinion.

The ps3 is awesome, it's a great system with some of the greatest games ever! However, the 360, regardless of my first one breaking, has the best jrpgs, shooters, online games this year.

Anyone with the slightest bit of intelligence can see a $199 360 with the largest game library is better than the $400 PS3.

i got a ps3 and would never buy a 360.. i got a ps3 becurse all my friends got it plus it can run blue-ray movies on it.. other than that i realy like the ps3 controller becurse ive always bin playstation fan... i wouldent say one is better than other..

ROFL, my friend has a modded 360 with over 80 games, all the best ones, yet only plays about 3 of them consistently. The "more games, better elusives" argument fails miserably unless you have no life outside of video games :(

Since his warrenty is void he had to pay 80 bucks to get it fixed then it broke down again!

I'm not trying to bash the 360 or it's users, I'm bashing the fact that people can still claim it's the best system when the thing breaks down so much, some people have had theirs break down multiple times, have had to send it away for weeks only to have it break down again.

the best is an opinion, i personally think the 360 is the best system out of the 3 consoles, why? the games, that's it, i never had the RROD, but i'm used to faulty hardware, i went trough 3 PS2's last gen

He doesn't play Halo, he doesn't like it but he does play Gears 2 since it's still fairly new. He's not much into shooters anyways. I don't know the other two games he plays but he told me that the more games that are available the less he plays them.

I learned that from having a PS2, so many games, so little time to play them all.

I respect your opinion, but I've had my PS2 since it first came out (the original one, not the slim) and I have had no problems with it, but then again I took good care of it.

I respect your opinion, but I've had my PS2 since it first came out (the original one, not the slim) and I have had no problems with it, but then again I took good care of it.

I know people who got a 360 at launch and still have it and never got RROD.  It can be easily prevented by limiting play time.

the third one was a slim and overheated

i still use my second PS2 to play PS1 games (the PS2 uses a different laser for PS1 games)

but overall they were all well treated, never left their place, they just.... died

i have a 360 for over a year now, never had any problems (and it's not a falcon 360)

I'm not making it up, actually I got the 50% figrue from my friend who owns a 360 that broke down the other day. I knew it was around 30%, then he said that he read somewhere that it's probably somewhere closer to 50% and that MS has lost close to $2 billion on broken 360s.

Ya actually the very first PS2 I bought came from Walmart and did have a laser problem since it wouldn't read certain games but I took it back to the store and they gave me another one and it worked fine ever since.

When the PS3 first came out I was pissed that it cost so much and was thinking about getting a 360 but I knew of the RROD issue and didn't want to make the transition to the 360 controller, I found the original xbox contoller too bulky and was accustomed to the PS2 desgin so I waited for the PS3 price drop and got the PS3 the day the price went down.

If MS would fix the RROD issue I would probably pick one up.

Oh I'm not saying all 360s break down, yet everyone I know who has one has had the RROD issue except for one (luckily), but then again I only know about 5 people with one .

It does make sense to limit playing time regardless of the over-heating issue, but my friends are pragmatic and tend to deal with those things as they come up, in which case it's too late and it overheats.
