Applying the logic that the PS3 won 2009 to the entire gen. (PS3 didn't win)

As you can see, I'm not particularly happy. Believe me, by the end of this thread, I will make believers out of all of you. You will join me in my palace of wisdom or you can stand outside to be a "rebel." In this thread, I will use only facts. Only facts. I will present to you irrefutable proof that will sway you to my side. The side that isn't necessarily a fanboy, but a side that is enlightened. There is no room for fanboys in my palace of wisdom. Let's get started shall we?

Lately, as I've scoured across the wasteland that is System Wars, I've noticed someting. I pray this thread won't be locked, because this thread isn't responding to anything. This thread is absolutely necessary. Anyway, I've noticed that the vast majority of posters are saying the PS3 won 2009. That just isn't true. SAYING THE PS3 WON 2009 IS LIKE SAYING THE PLAYSTATION 3 IS WINNING THE WHOLE GENERATION. That just isn't true.

The PS3 has a couple of more AAAE than the PC this year. But, the PS3 is getting the hell beaten out of it in AAEs and AEs. But, the PS3 still won 2009. Why do people say this? Why are they the vast majority? Why is the truth not coming out? Why am I apparently the only one who sees this? The PS3 received a very thourough ass kicking this year. I'm sorry if you don't agree, but what I'm saying is true.

No, I'm not. This all comes from the spreadsheet. All official.

Now, let's move on.

If you think the PS3 is won 2009 then you must think the PS3 won the gen. The situations are exactly the same. The PS3 has AAAAE. One AAAAE. But, the PC doesn't have any AAAAE at all. None. Zip. Zero. But, just like in 2009, The PC kicks the PS3 5 ways to Sunday in EVERY OTHER CATEGORY. But, the PS3 still has that one AAAAE, right? :|

No. If you honestly think a couple of games is better than tons (and the Silverbond means TONS) of excellent ones then this thread probably isn't for you. I'm trying to save those that can be enlightened. It is possible to realize the PS3 lost this year.

There is no way the PS3 is winning this gen. None at all. It ain't happening. The PC is just to awesome. Now let's look at 2009 and we see the same thing. Except, instead of one AAAAE we see three AAAE more than the PC. The PC still has a AAAE along with numerous AAEs and AEs and yet the PS3 won 2009. :|

I cannot understand why people are so unenlightened. I'm an honest System Warrior. I've been called a cow, lem, sheep, and you all will crucify me as a hermit. With this thread, I will wrongfully be known as a hermit. The naysayers without facts will insult me. Flame me. They cannot be saved. But, I believe the majority of you PS3 supporters will agree with most of the things I've said. Perhaps I'm too optimistic. I don't know. If you have fatcs against me, then by all means show me where I'm wrong. Show me. I hope you all are suing facts. I don't want to hear what you think. I want to hear why I'm wrong and want to hear it with facts as to why I'm wrong.

It seems my only mentioning AEs (notice the E?) still gets people to think that they can bring up total library. I will ignore you. This thread is OBVIOUSLY about exclusvies.

For the lazy:
If the PS3 won 2009 then you are also saying it won the gen. Hopefully, not many people think this.

Ok, remember those other years where ppl said 360 or wii won 200x because of exclusive game X. This is the same idea, yet it's the ps3. PS3 won GoTY in 2008.

And the PS3 did have a great year. It didn't win this year, but this year was great. SW needs to learn this.

I have to say, TC, I agree. But then, I knew I would, simply because, from a numbers perspective, PC always wins. Always.

It is nice to see someone argue with numbers for once.
